BlueFire Gaming Headset for PS5 PS4 PC, Wired Headphones with Mic

Due to the lack of an adequate number of USB ports on the PS4 console, I was desperately in need of a headset that could be plugged into the PS4 remote so that I could free up a port on my console. I happened to stumble upon the page for this headset and was immediately interested after I saw the number of excellent reviews that it had received, especially considering its low cost. Typically in my experience with gaming headsets the cheaper the price, the cheaper the sound and comfort of the headset. After reading the reviews for it, however, I decided to take a chance and order this BlueFire headset. Boy am I glad that I did. First I will say that, though there is an option to plug in the headset to a USB port to make the headset light up, I don't use that part of the headset, so I won't be able to tell you how that particular feature works. I know that you can find that in various other reviews here, though, in case that's what you're interested in. Now onto what I am able to tell you. First, as advertised in the details for this product, you don't have to go through any elaborate set up in order to get the headset to work on your PS4. As a matter of fact, for me it was as easy as plugging the jack into the bottom of my remote and it was working. As far as the sound, I will say this: I have always been a big fan of Turtle Beach. I liked my previous headset because it had a bass boost on it and the bass was spectacular, so I was a little worried that the BlueFire would be a bit of a letdown. Though the bass is a smidgeon less on the BlueFire, the sound is pretty spectacular for the inexpensive cost of the headset. I've paid almost twice as much for a headset that did not have this quality sound. Also, chat was amazingly easy to hear with this headset. I have struggled to find a pair that allows me to be absorbed in the sounds of the game while also being able to hear the person I'm talking with. The first thing that I noticed was that I could actually hear my friend with no difficulty at all; it was crystal clear. After asking them how it sounded on their end they said that they had no trouble hearing me at all, and I never once had to raise my voice in order to be heard over the game. As far as comfort, right away I noticed that the BlueFire was far more comfortable on my head than my Turtle Beach pair was. The ear cups fit very nicely over my ears and I don't feel like my head is being squeezed in a vice when I'm wearing them. In addition, it's a fairly lightweight headset, so I don't have a lot of pressure bearing down on my neck. One last thing that I'll point out is that I was worried that having a headset that plugged into the remote would be too noticeable and be a constant distraction. That is not the case with this headset. The cord isn't delicate but it's very lightweight, so I don't even notice that it's there at all. All in all, if you're looking for an inexpensive headset that allows you to enjoy the sounds of the game you're playing, lets you hear your friends while chatting during the game, and doesn't physically pain you to wear for any amount of time, then this is the headset for you.

People, I wanted to buy a headset for me and my son to use with my PS4. I didn't want to spend a ton of money cause my son can be hard on electronics. When I open the box I grew a smile from ear to ear. First look, quality of headset blew me away. It's light but built strong. The cord is long but you can make it short if you would like also the cord is not made some piece of crap thin rubber coated wires it's a thick braided cord build to last and take abuse. Putting it on felt great, comfortable, and adjustable. It fit me and my 9 year old no problem. Then I turned it on.Wow! Sound quality is supurb, clear, loud, and the bass is just right. If someone gave me this headset and then asked me to guess how much it costed them, I would have said at least $100. People if you want a sturdy, heavy duty, light, great looking, headset that sounds great and won't break the bank, this is the one. BlueFire, I don't know how you build a headset so great at this price. Please tell your staff thank you for hours fun that I have and will continue to have with this headset. Sincerely, Blake Walden

First things, aestheticly this all looks great. Has a nice gloss finish, but the down side to the gloss that it will be filled with fingerprints. The cool thing about these headset is that they have LEDs. Total gamer heaven. One down side to that; USB must remain plugged into a power source. The actual USB does not transfer data (sound waves to digital), it's just a power USB. Since The headset is only wired. When connecting it to a controller, it does not drain battery and if it did, would be very minimal. It does not come with a spiltter if you wanted to connect it to your PC. Audio quality; These headset produce very low audio sound when plugged into the PS4 controller. It defiantly does not isolate the sound within the headphones even at the max volume on everything in the PS4 settings as well as the actually volume control on the headset. It does not seem to be suited for the PS4 controller, but works well when connected to my iPhone. When it comes to the mic, it's somewhat fair. If you want to know how the surround sound works in games; I play Rainbow Six Seige, and when you're trying to look for enemy's with pure sound. This does the job. You might be roasted for the toaster you're talking with but you'll be fine. In all, it just needs a way higher volume capacitiy. I reached out to them through email and it was a great experience. I told them my issue with the volume and resolved it for me. They responded quick and I would buy another product just for the service.

Okay sound, mic is great. Takes a little finagling. Noise-cancelling is non-existent. Kids show up, and I can hear everything, even the TV on 12, and still hear every word. Takes a minute to get them to stretch to your head, and were mildly uncomfortable. It doesn't really cover the ears either, and I have small ears. Decent for the price, but not fully what was advertised.

I got this as a cheap headset to use since I work from home and got tired of switching the headset to personal and company PCs. Overall its a solid build quality. Audio is crystal clear, and mic is good enough that I haven't had any complaints. So as a headset its a win. A few notes for improvement: The headset USB plug only powers the LED lights. The 3.5 audio jack is a mic and headset combo. Meaning if your computer has a separate jack for mic and speaker then you will need an adapter. (allegedly some say one is included, mine however did not come with one). But if you have a single jack like on a laptop it functions fine. Mute switch is very stiff and somewhat hard to use (this may get better with use) Lack of indicator on volume control, It's hard to tell where it is set in the volume range. All in all solid headset for the price point. As long as you are ok with the notes I listed for improvement.

So I purchased this headset for my husband for fathers day because he loves Playing games on his XBOX Live his games of choice are APEX and NBA2K19 He loved it from the time he removed it from the packaging he was using a turtle bay headset prior to this one which is supposed to be one of the top headsets but he insists that this headset is much better he said that he can even hear feet of people creeping up on him in the distance on APEX Its Extremely comfortable on his ears and head and it was a great price for the good reviews he gave i asked him how many stars he would give it in each individual area and he told me 5 STARS on each so that was money well spent for me and the sellers even reached out after we received the headphones just to make sure that everything was perfect as a consumer i truly appreciate that i will definitely keep my eyes open for more great products from them

Review is based off the red and blue gaming set. I bought the red and after a few days it just stopped working on me. I could hear but person on the other side could not. I contacted them directly and they were able to send me the blue set as a replacement since red was out of stock. No issues with it yet. They work great.

This gaming headphone is excellent, the built quality is of plastic but sturdy and works as it describes itself. I tested this with Playstation, PC and Xbox including Nintendo Switch and mobile phone and it worked fine with all the gaming devices and the mobile phone. The ear cushion cups are super comfortable and hugs the ear with no discomfort. The lights on the headphones only turn on while the USB is connected so if your using the 3.5mm connector the lights will not turn on as there is no power to turn the side lights on. The sounds quality is really good, I compared this to Beats headphones and the mid and low ranges were almost the same, the sound did distort at extreme high volume, this was expected. The microphone worked fine when used and the quality of the mic was excellent. There is a master control attached within the cord for easy access to volume and Mic control which is very handy. Excellent product.

Gaming suitability: A+ they have minimal noise leakage so you can game without disturbing people. Sound quality: A overall pretty good. Comfort: C+ Out of the box they made wearing glasses uncomfortable until I bent them a bit to fix this problem. Value : A The last set of these lasted me 12 months , so pretty good value . I got a second set and I am updating my review.

If you want amazing headphones with out of this world sound you have to spend the money. These are great for casual gamers. I’ve been using them for a couple of months and while the controller input seems to be wearing quickly (due to being bent whilst plugged in) the sound is getting a little crackly, but this is due to the way I hold it, which pressed the input onto an angle as the controller sits on my lap. The quality is good for the price. The mic works just fine. They’re comfortable. Have worn for 7-8hrs sessions with short breaks and had no discomfort. Great for casual players or kids.

I bought this for my husband as his had finally died. They are perfect, very clear and cancel out outside noise and they are very comfortable however they are quite tight if you have a larger head like my husband, and the cord is quite long and can get in the way at times.

Microphone does not work and drivers are unavailable as the service is no longer running. Also wore them for less than an hour and gave me a headache. Big scam!
