Can they be used with gas grills?

Hi Debbie. Absolutely you can use the cedar planks on a gas grill. You just need to watch for flareups because they will reduce the amount of re-use you get from the planks. You can also use the cedar planks in the oven too. Good luck and Healthy and Happy Grilling!

The dimensions are 12" x 6" x 7/16". After testing many sizes we found this to be ideal. For soaking, It fits perfectly into a standard 13" casorole dish and it fits your wider cuts of meat with the 6" width. The 7/16 thickness allows you to get the grilling plank nice and hot to create plenty of flavor without compromising repeat uses, unlike the thin planks.
