The O2 Analyzer works great. It is easy to use and the way it passes air over the sensor is far simpler than any other analyzer that I've ever used. Just shy of 2 years the analyzer starting giving clearly erroneous measurements. I contacted Forensics and returned the device to them, apparently the sensor had failed, even though it was out of warranty they sent me a new unit. Couldn't be happier.

If you use O2 for any use, This product is a must. Easly to use. Check your medical devices, such as O2 generators to make sure the give you the right amount of O2

I ordered the detector in June but didn’t use it until September. The readings I got were much different than the dive shops. When I got home I contacted Forensics customer support and they sent me a new one within a few days. The new one works fine. Forensics customer support was very helpful.

I so wanted this meter to work since it is fairly inexpensive and comes with a nice case but I think the sensor was bad and I can't trust it. I received the meter and the batteries were dead as many of the other reviews have noted. I can't believe they haven't fixed this simple flaw yet! I put 3 fresh AAA batteries in and turned it on and calibrated as directed. The reading was 21.4% before I calibrated and 21.4% after I calibrated (should be closer to 20.9%). I had a feeling there was something wrong with the meter. I contacted Forensics technical support via email and got no response after 4 days. Fortunately I took it over to a local dive shop and tried it on a tank of nitrox with a known oxygen content of 32%. Put the meter on and waited about 20-25 seconds before the read out moved. It went up to about 26% but no further. The shop worker's meter only took about 5 seconds to register ~ 32%. I sent it back and purchased a different brand before I went diving.

This works well to test the O2 concentration right from the line of the oxygen concentrator and also to test the ambient level of O2 in the cage we set up to be an O2 chamber for our special care pets. I've accidentally left it on a few times for a couple hours and the batteries haven't died. This amazes me since it must be doing quite a bit of work. The mechanics must be fairly efficient. I like to color, the font size, the simple buttons. I wish the face lit up (maybe it does- I didn't read the manual) so we could read it from outside the cage. What would make it even better for out purposes would be a remote (hardwired would be fine) display or a way to set a chime if O2 level rises or drops out of the selected range

I got this device on Tuesday, fast shipping and good delivery time. My only concern is when I opened the box, the device looks like was used for plenty of times before gets into my hand! There are tears and scratches on screen, and I was sure it was not brand new! These O2 analyzers internally works with Galvanic chips , and even if the device sits on shelves, it wears the sensor off! So I don’t know how long it would work! Also, the manufacturer did not place the sticker regarding the date the Galvanic chip was manufactured and placed into the device! Because of these reasons, I will return the device!

The product seems to not have any measurements adjustments. When the gas pressure increases just a little bit, like 1 psi, indicated value also increases. But the gas composition is actually the same. Assuming the dynamic pressure near scuba tank valve oscillates much more than 1 psi, I would not trust the measurements. Or at least would not consider them "with error < 0.2%". What they had to do, is adding an absolute pressure sensor (and probably temperature) and adjust the raw values for the gas thermodynamic state. Sorry I have to return this.

Perfect analyzer for the price point really happy with it. Works extremely well for dive cylinders. N.B Fedex deliver this item to UK from Greece and charge you almost £46 ontop of the purchase price, which Amazon do not tell you so be aware of this fact when ordering
