Gear Shifter Adapter Pad Modification Set for Logitech G27 G29 G25 G920 Accessories

Mine broke 20 minutes after installing it I took some time and fixed it I used lubricant with some fast frets and jbwelded it back together and outlined the top and bottom of both pieces sanded it kept trying it till it felt like it was supposed to I feel lubrication and perfect line up is the solution.

After reading the reviews, I purchased a bottle of superglue and dielectric grease along with the shifter mod, expecting it to break. Unfortunately, I was right. The longest uninterrupted use was a day and a half. I've fixed it twice now, only for it to immediately break again. Badly designed, cheaply made, and sold for too much money.

Installation was simple, product feels solid but plastic for sure. It was definitely cheaper than other Logitech Shifter mods though.It adds a nice mechanical click to the shifter that was missing. But still concerned about build quality considering it is plastic.THREE DAYS LATERI've heard clicking noises moving laterally and my stick wouldn't go straight to neutral. Checking inside I found the center rail was cracked and causing problems.The shifter still works but the disrupted shifting is a nuisance.I would recommend investing in a higher quality mod for the sake of longevity.Still a good shifter mod for a budget, but I feel like this could be a 3D print project if that's an option for you.

I installed this on a Logitech slop shifter and it help[ed a great deal. A shifter extension, new Shift Knob, and a 3D printed gated top give it an entirely new lease in life.

I have to say I held off an entire year on writing a review because everyone made me think that it was going to break. So I was quite literally anticipating it would break considering how hard and often I use my shifter. I think it's been long enough, this things a great piece of plastic that improves the feel of the shifter.I don't know what the other people reviewing did, maybe they installed it upside down or didn't use any DiElectric Grease or what. But I know I drive the heck out of my sim and I've checked month after month to see how this little thing is holding up and its just 100% intact. I re-grease it every so often. Probably like 3 times since I got it.Follow the instructions and use grease that wont degrade the plastic and you will have a good time.

It felt great when installed. 100% need to lubricate it with dielectric grease, which actually does hurt the "click" feel and resistance, but with out it I felt it would break faster. Ultimate, even though greased, it broke with in days. Wish it could be made of metal, the plastic just doesn't hold up.

I’ve had this mod for a while now. Still works perfectly. The key is to take some white lithium grease and put it on the slots the shift rod goes into. If you glue the corners of the base down nothing bounces around and breaks. The seller needs to include these instructions so they stop getting bad reviews. It works great, gives a notchy feel to the shifter. For the price you can’t beat it.

It seems like a good idea and it worked great the first couple days, but the smaller piece is what broke on me. I took the advice of other reviews and used some dielectric grease and it still broke. If you know someone with a 3D printer maybe see if they can make it out of stronger materials. I will say for the first couple of days before it broke it made the feel of the shifter so much better, so I’ll give it that.
