No problems with this strap. I had a large tree and this worked very well. The most difficult part was installing it due to the height, but used a boy scout trick by attaching a light way string to pull it into place.

This is wonderful if you need your swing closer to the ground. We have a branch that was too high and this worked out great. Best thing no damage to the tree

This swing strap system works well for hanging a child's swing. We wanted this strap so that we could move our son's rope swing to different areas in the yard without constantly taking knots out of the rope and re-tying it. We tested it on an outdoor pergola and it was really easy to set the strap up and I like the strong carabiner clip that locks down so no worries about it accidentally coming open. The strap is long and we had to wrap it around a lot to get it to the height we wanted but I like the length for possible use on higher tree branches.I am over 200 lbs and I tested it out and it held me up just fine. It is made of seat-belt-type material and is wide. Like the other reviewer said it shows 1000 lbs on the title but in the description it shows 300 lbs maximum weight so I am not sure if this is for the carabiner or the strap and that probably should be revised to avoid confusion. The package came in tact and as described. It came with two parts--the hook and the actual strap--of which both were durable and sturdy. When I first opened the package, I had trouble believing the hook could hold up the weight of a human being let alone a swing--however, I was pleasantly surprised as this hook shows great promise so far.Likewise, the strap is strong and made up of material almost like a seat belt.Together, the hook and swing make for a very versatile product.
