These are not well designed racks. The neck support is somewhat tenuous at best. It does not cradle the neck well and therefore could easily lend itself to damaging a guitar/ I will say that in the year or so I've had it, I have not had a problem with that (I have been VERY careful however).THE BIGGEST ISSUE - The foam they use on the lower body support does NOT interact well with the nitro -finishes on my higher end guitars. This became aware to me today as I had sold a guitar that does not get much use. I picked the guitar up and I could hear it "Peeling" away from the rack bottom. It has taken a $ 4,000.00 instrument and severely devalued it. I have removed all the guitars and have will throw it away at the next junk day here in town.It may be fine if you have instruments with the plastic finishes, but if yours have nitro -STAY AWAY -FAR AWAY

I really like this stand. The color is beautiful and it matches the rest of my furniture. Also looks a lot better that having 4 individual guitar stands scattered around the bedroom. It was easy to assemble. The instructions were mainly pictures but it's pretty self explanatory. It fit all of my boyfriend's guitars including the "Guitar Hero" plastic guitar, 2 acoustic guitars, and 3 electronic guitars. The only downside is if you want to move it, it's a little fragile. Especially if your moving it by yourself. Definitely better to move around with two people; keeps it more stable.

Trapped bolts that aren't very trapped, you'll spend plenty of time trying to finesse those into place just to find out the screws to hold the 2 uprights aren't long enough even if you leave the "required" washer off each side. Then you'll triple check that "yep, those are the longest screws in the kit" before heading to the hardware store. DO NOT buy this stand.

For Todd,Hi Todd,I'm sorry you've had an issue with your stand. There should have been 4 longer screws specifically for the 2 uprights.
