Inexoensive and work when the big boys fail. Amazing!
Father in law gave to me as a gift. I put in my large garage tool box and never intended to use. I own snap on, Irwin and craftsman extractor sets that cost hundreds. On at least three occassions I've tried the others only to fail and almost gave up and drilled out with my left handed drill bits. On a gamble I grabbed these. Each time they immediately removed the stripped screw. Immediately! Amazing for any priced item but these were so inexpensive and out performed the big boys.

Make SURE you use a power drill, not a battery operated drill!!!!!
Well, I ordered this to hopefully get out the stripped phillips head to replace the broken door hatch on our clothes washer. This screw wasnt moving and of course in anger I stripped it. So it brought me to order the speed out, pretty scepticle after reading the mixed reviews on Amazon. Of course when I got it, it did nothing. So after several other crazy attempts including drililng the center of the screw, I said what the heck lets try again. Well the second time, in about 3 minutes it was out. Difference?? Need to make sure you are using a power drill, the drills with the battery packs dont do the job, which is what I used the first time. Second time on the power drill, it was a done deal.................very happy i purchased these and gave em more than one chance!!!!

Pretty useless
I bought these to remove two sheared bolts in my car's frame. This product simply does not work as advertised. "Self-centering tips" do not self center at all, I had to use a center punch and start the hole with a carbide bit to even get the included bit to bite. Speaking of that, these bits are way too weak. I sat there for god knows how long trying to get the included "drilling side" to drill enough material out for me to use the easy-out side. Finally gave up and drilled the hole with one of my carbide bits, which made short work of the bolt. Then when I finally got the easy-out side in and started turning, it either just made the hole bigger and more tapered, or grabbed on so much that my drill seized, and then just made the hole bigger after I used a pair of vice grips.Save your money if you're trying to remove anything besides a stripped screw out of some wood, although I didn't test these in that setting either so who knows if they'd work.

Works as expected.
Worked perfectly. Used it for a half inch long washer dryer screw for the door. Used the drill side. Make sure you dont wobble the drill. Took some time to dirill the metal screw. It did chew up the drill a little bit. Not sure if the drill will work more than a few times. Flip the bit put the hand drill to reverse and out comes the screw. See my picture.

Overall good product however, package can be misleading!
Speed out seems to work quite well with just about any screw or bolt I could manually screw or used moderately high powered drill. However any screw or bolt I needed a little more umph with higher powered drill or impact gun was unsuccessful. I then noticed on the back of the box states "Not for use with Impact drivers" while also stating "For any size screw or bolt", also on the front of package states "works with any drill". While these statements do not contradict however they are a bit misleading as to how much these bits can take. I would certainly recommend this product for light to moderately tough jobs. For those tough screws that wont budge with full power drill find something more durable before forcing the issue or moving on to anything more powerful like an impact gun. Overall a great product minus some misleading marketing on the label. Change the label, be more transparent so that we know better what to expect.

Worked perfectly
Took a few minutes to get the hang of, but worked really well on rusty screws from the 50s that had been painted over a handful of times. If you’re having trouble, go up one size and make the hole deeper in step 1 before moving to step 2. Start step 2 slowly, pulsing the drill, allowing the bit to grip the hole you created. Hope this helps!

Must have for any tool box.
Anyone that does any kind of work with screws has come into contact with a stripped screw. You try everything you can from applying more pressure with the drill or screwdriver to hammering in some other bit to try getting a good enough grip to get the stubborn screw out. Well after seeing this kit numerous times I figured I'd get it for when that time comes, which as a mechanic you come across stripped screws often. In the numerous times I've used the bits since I got them I have yet to fail at getting the screw out. The bits are very easy to use, the drill side has nice sharp cutting edges to help you dig into the screw, then simply flip the bit and extract the screw. Awesome kit and well worth the money!

Breaks easy!
Bought a few years ago. Just used it and the speed out bit snapped. Now, I am truly up a creek!
