EXA PLUS 1000/1500/2000 UPS

Very nice product and easy to use but there is no user manual.

Ok, if this was about the devices capacity, Performance and usability. This would get a 5 stars. It has plenty of capacity both in load and sockets. Its easy to setup up and the App works pretty well (its not a modern app, but neither is anything else i have seen from other providers. Its had a good from factor and i believe it also has a replaceable battery (unlike the APC UPS this is replacing). It is worth mentioning, like others that it does not come with a UK plug. It come with 2 C13 and C14 cable (kettle lead extensions) this is annoying, but i not an issue as i have a few around the house. The Big issue is the noise. This device say on its marking "silent". Now, I dont have any issue if it turns the fan on at high load, or when its discharging or maybe even when its charging. But right now its is sitting under my desk. With the fans on at about 55db with about 29% load and 100% charge. This is Really annoying, given the word "silent" was used in the Marketing and my prior experience of UPS's that the fans only come on when they are under high load. Its a real downside of what is a good product. So if this is sitting in another room to you, then this is great. But if, like me, its sitting under your desk, then please don't believe the "silent" claim

This review is for the EXA PLUS 2000 UPS Was well packaged and came with 1 USB cable and 2 Male to Female UPS leads that I was not expecting so bonus points, no power lead however but most users will have a power lead for the PC and its a standard kettle type anyway. One review has mentioned the display was blurred but that is the protective covering which can be peeled off. As seen in the pictures, the battery access panel below the display has a wonky sticker which was raised, off centre and looked very cheap. I did manage to peel this off and re-apply to straighten it as it would bug me every time I looked at it) Initially all was well and plugged in and turned on just fine. There was a little guide with details on the units plugs and connections but no instructions at all about operation or any mention of where to go and download (That I could see). After scanning the QR code I found the web site and tried to register only to find you need to pay £86 for the full 5 years cover and thats only for the unit the £86 did get you 2 years on the battery! The web site does have English but still some un translated parts. I ran a test and found the unit is NOT silent as advertised. When on battery and after when charging, the fans kick in and are very loud, they stay running until its back to full charge. There are plenty of output plugs and the monitoring software does work but is very limited in functionality. This will be fine for a simple setup but be very aware of the noise. Another reason for my concerns and eventual return request, if there are any RMA requirements based on others feedback, you will have issues. I gave it 2 stars because, while it does work, the product description does not have all the important information, specifically noise and the warranty process. I have returned and I am purchasing from a local UK company (BPC Energy) , while more expensive there is far less worries.

Ha la ventola ma funziona solo quando fornisce corrente o ci sono degli sbalzi quindi il livello di rumore è uguale a zero. La corrente è sinusoidale perfetta, scatta subito, non crea problema agli alimentatori con psu attivo. Le batterie reggono a pieno carico per oltre 10 minuti. La garanzia è di 3 anni con possibilità di espansione tramite il sito. I connettori sono giusti per le connessioni pc monitor ecc , e si possono vedere nel sitodel produttore. E' fornito di cavo usb per governarlo con il software, che è mediocre ma fa parte di uno dei più famosi programmi che usano quasi tutti i gruppi, quindi non c'e' molta scelta e comunque il software fa alla fine spegnere il pc dopo x tempo o controlla lostato del gruppo, nulla quindi di fondamentale o necessario. Dopo averli studiati tutti, con onda sinusoidale da 1500/2000VA e per pfc attivo , questo modello è l'unico valido, e soprattutto che non fa casino con ventole a reazione come altri concorrenti. Non posso dire di consigliare l'acquisto, ma posso dire che solo questo si può comprare, gli altri no. Considerando che con 1 pc apparati di rete 2 due monitor sta al 30% del carico, consiglio solo modello da 1500VA o 2000VA

L'ups, comprato nuovo appena tornato in stock, nonostante sia arrivato in condizioni esterne perfette, alla prima accensione (collegamento alla rete elettrica) ha iniziato a fischiare segnalando l'errore E21 sullo schermo. Ho telefonato al centro assistenza della tecnoware: un operatore mi ha informato che l'errore indicava delle componenti elettroniche interne danneggiate e che non potevano farci nulla. Ora, dato che lavoro e non sono a casa durante il giorno, sono costretto a farmi due ore totali di viaggio (compreso pagamento della benzina) per riportare l'ups rotto a dei miei parenti per la restituzione e ritirare il nuovo (sempre che amazon decida di sostituirmelo). In tutto questo l'ho pagato 550 euro, prezzo follemente alto per il prodotto ma purtroppo al momento se ne approfittano tutti e non si trova di meglio. Signori della tecnoware, ma fare un po' più di controlli in fabbrica prima di spedire i prodotti era difficile? Non è molto professionale far arrivare al cliente un ups difettoso di fabbrica... Aggiornamento: dopo aver contattato il servizio clienti Amazon mi hanno informato che, nonostante il prodotto sia venduto e spedito da Amazon, è possibile eseguire solo il rimborso e non la sostituzione. Come non fosse abbastanza mi hanno pure informato che per restituire l'ups devo spedirlo tramite un mio corriere, stampando le etichette (sono pure senza stampante), anticipando i costi di spedizione e successivamente inoltrando la ricevuta del corriere ad Amazon per ricevere il rimborso. Per la cronaca, nonostante i miei ripetuti solleciti, gli operatori Amazon con i quali ho parlato non mi hanno saputo indicare una documentazione contrattuale scritta che mi garantisca la restituzione del denaro per la spedizione e il completo rimborso in caso il corriere smarrisca il pacco. Prima di comprare questo e altri prodotti del genere consiglio quindi di informarsi sulle eventuali modalità di restituzione in quanto, evidentemente, vengono applicate delle politiche di scarica barile sul cliente. In conclusione servizio pessimo e oltre il danno anche la beffa...

Très bon produit pour protéger mes PC des coupures électriques qui sont fréquentes là ou j'habite. Silencieux quand les batteries sont bien chargées , le ventilateur se déclenche lors de la charge/décharge de ces dernières, mais pas plus bruyant qu'un ventilateur de PC. Attention le câble d'alimentation de l'ondulateur n'est pas fourni à prévoir lors de l'achat (donc 1 étoile en moins): cable de type CEE7 vers IEC 320 C13 H05VV-F. Sont fournis 2 câbles pour brancher sur les sorties de l'onduleur et 1 câble USB permettant de relier l'onduleur à un PC pour l'utilisation du logiciel "TechnoManager" à télécharger sur le site "Tecnoware".
