One Star
This arrived on time and worked just as expected. I wrote this in Jan 2016. I am changing my review to one star, as the switch is now broken. I had it only 2 years and it broke. It caused me weeks of aggravation, lost time, extra work, etc to find out what was wrong with my network. I am not a skilled techie, and when I originally bought this, I had spent $50 and thought I was investing in a high quality product. Switches should last longer than this one did. I finally replaced it with a much older D-link switch-and one is STILL working. I do not recommend this switch.

Awesome, Fast, and Cheap!
Works great! I plugged my Main internet cable into port 1 and run the rest of my Ethernet cables to the places I need (2-8) to go. I am running about 50mbps through Wifi range extender (also by belkin) and it barely slows it down (slows down about 1-3mbps).

It's OK
This one arrived "New in the Box" and did not work. A cheerful refund was made by the seller, and I replaced it with a TP-Link switch which works fine.

Belkin's 8 Port Fast Ethernet Switch is awesome. It is easy to plug in and does it's work. I didn't think it would be this easy to add more ports to my network without some issues, but it is. It maybe because I have a Belkin DSL Modem/Router or it could be it just works. I would recommend this product highly.

Happy purchase
it was a simple plug in situation.it worked at once without any problems. I had tried none powered splitters that did not work. this does add a little more to the electric bill. but it works and has extra ports for future addon's your safe with this purchase

Does exactly what it should
Works perfectly, excellent price. I have a Skype linksys, a test Crestron controller, a Dell 2135, and a bunch of computers plugged into it. It then connects to another switch in my cabinet.

good for hiding
its a switch..with the lights on top, not the front..good for hiding,and if you dont like to see the lights.
