Hypafix Flexible Wide-Area Fixation - for Securing Devices and Wound Dressings - 2 in x 11 yds, 1 Roll

I used the Hypafix Flexible Wide-Area Fixation after surgery, and it worked really well for securing dressings in place. This tape was actually recommended by my doctor, it’s the same one they use in their office to cover stitches, which gave me a lot of confidence using it at home. The adhesive is strong enough to stay put throughout the day, even with movement, but it doesn’t feel harsh on the skin when removing it. What I really liked is how flexible and breathable it is, it conforms to your body easily and doesn’t feel stiff or uncomfortable. It was especially helpful for larger areas where regular tape just wouldn’t hold as well. It was also very easy to cut to the exact size I needed, which made it even more convenient to use. Removal was pretty gentle, and I didn’t experience any major irritation or redness, which is a big plus for sensitive or healing skin. Overall, I would definitely recommend this if you need reliable, wide area medical tape that’s comfortable and effective.

This works excellently on my baby’s face to secure his ng tube. It’s gentle but strong.

Was sent home with this tape following surgery. Found out it is available on Amazon....delighted. This is a wonderful product. Cut-to-size, easy peel, flexible, breathable, and sticks/holds well.

Needed something to put on top of current device for sugar level monitoring to prevent getting wet during bathing and exericising, this worked decently for protection but one suggestion is to make it somehow in more shapes and sizes as it is difficult to cut and stick at same time. Not too diffcult or painful to remove . Would be great if can come in more colors. Otherwise decent product for folks who need this kind of protection.

The best tape money can buy. I used this tape as a nurse for many years and it performed consistently. Now that I need to use tape on a regular basis, its the one I turned to. I am allergic to almost all tape and adhesives. Now that I have to use a CGM, the adhesive they use causes me to blister. I use this tape on my skin before inserting the CGM and it prevents skin irritation and worse. My mother uses this tape to reinforce her ostomy appliance. Hypoallergenic, water proof and durable. what more could you ask for in a tape?

I have a really big sensitivity to bandage adhesives. Most brands make my skin break out and really sore. Sometimes that's worse then the wound I'm trying to cover! I also have a tendency to get boils in really sensitive areas that are hard to bandage. Like the arm pits, under the breast, and around the waist. This tape is awesome. It comes in a large roll so you can cut as much or as little as you need. It sticks really well even when wet (though it's NOT waterproof, really soft and feels like fabric so it moves with you and doesn't pull at the skin. So far no breakouts or sore spots from the adhesive, and been using for a week. I will definitely be keeping this in the first aid kit.
