I’m going to answer here things I had questions about. Does the item smell? It does not have a distinguishable odor after washing. Does the lid snap on? As you can see in my photos, there is just a silicone piece that lays over the top in place but it does not prevent water from spilling. Will the ice cubes come out perfectly square? As you can see in my second photo there is no support on the sides so the ice cubes are square but slightly bulbous.What I like so far about this item is that it makes big ice cubes, the silicone has no odor, and it is a small simple thing. It was a little pricier than the others I looked at, but it seem like it would be quality construction, and indeed it is. It has a nice stiff edge around the top which makes it easy to carry, as opposed to a lot of silicone products. I’m happy with my choice.

Why I like the Peak large ice cube tray - The product is well-built. It has a firm top rim that keeps the soft silicone from flopping around. I can fill it with water and insert into the freezer without spilling a drop. The cubes come out very easily, one at a time or more than one at a time as you want. The cubes are a perfect size for my cocktail glasses. The large cubes last longer than ice maker cubes. I have had one for several years, use it daily, and it’s still like new. I have given several as gifts.

Food grade is key, and this is obviously a legit company with a genuine food grade product. Tried many other cube trays off Amazon, and all of them imparted a smell, flavor, or chemical residue on the ice, which only got worse over time. Have had this for many months and uses now, and the ice continues to smell and taste just like the filtered water (i.e. like nothing basically) from day one.

This works great! Great for cocktails! The cubes are a bit big for some of my glasses, but just run under cool water for a few seconds until they are a bit smaller and still work great. The lid doesn’t seal, but still works okay for Keeping in protected in the freezer. I’ve been using for months and have not experienced any odd taste from the silicon. Would recommend

I bought several and have a round one that came with a bottle of bourbon. This is the best. Needs a wide highball glass.

The cubes wont be square so be ready for that. The tray is not nearly as stiff as I was expecting si the walls bulge as the water freezes. The wire lip is nice but without it the thing would be unusable because its that floppy. The lid is my largest issue. Calling the included lid a lid is a travesty. The lid is useless doesn't seal anything and slides all over. Buy something else...

Was looking for a mold that came with a cover. This one did...kind of. The cover is just a flat piece of silicone that lays on top of the tray. It doesn't snap or latch on in any way, so it's useless to keep forming ice from spilling out or freezer odors from getting into the ice. It's going back.
