Sharper Image Multi-Use Gel Seat Cushion, Black

I drive fork truck for General Motors 8 hours a day. Fork truck drivers know theirs No Socks on Fork Trucks... the only give you get is the seat/ Weight adjustment that will make your seat spring. And if your driving an old fork truck I don't believe they even have that... So I've tried a few different seat cushions.... not much comfort offered. Besides not being excited about hoping on my fork trick after 2 shifts/ 16 hours of other Overweight operator's sweating in the seat.. Nasty... I don't want to sit my butt in a fork truck seat after that. So I originally bought this seat cushion to protect me from that. In addition, this but pad is SO COMFORTABLE!!! My back don't hurt after 8 hours, my but doesn't sweat that much or at all. You have to consider when it's 90 degrees outside and your in a factory, its HOT! "BUT" still you'll not sweat as bad. This is the BEST seat cushion I've found that offers comfort and cooling for your honey. Thank you very much.

I have used one of these in my house for several years to help me sit higher at the table as well as pad the chair. Very nice quality and it wears well! We bought a patio set for our screened in porch and I couldn’t find cushions small enough for the chairs. It finally dawned on me one day to try this and it was absolutely perfect! Not a traditional porch cushion , but so comfortable! I bought 3 more and keep them right next to the door. We take them out when we need them. Which is a whole lot more often now that the chairs are more comfortable!

I like this one so well that I bought a second one. There are several reasons for this, it is sturdy and dense so it doesn't go flat within seconds after you sit on it. Its sturdiness helps it to keep its shape even after long periods. The cushion itself is about .75 inch wider than most so if you have a big tush you will be happy. It may not fit on some walkers, though. Sharper Image may have discontinued this cushion though, you need to check.

I work at home a lot and easily spend 40-60 hours a week in a cheap-ish ($150) office chair. The original chair cushion was completely gone after a year, so I purchased my first Sharper Image Gel Seat Cushion to extend the life of the chair. I fell in love with it immediately, it was incredibly comfortable, even when using it 8-12 hours a day. After about 18-24 months of use it began to get less comfortable, and seemed like it was breaking down a bit, so I ordered a replacement. User "Mom'n'Writer" stated that this isn't the same cushion as the previous model, and I tend to agree. It definitely feels to me like it has more foam and less gel than the previous model. I can still sit in it comfortably for 6-8 hours, but not for 10-12 like the old cushion. It also tends to get warmer than the old one. It may also just be me getting older, but in either case it's still one of the best gel cushions I've found (I tried several two years ago before I found the original Sharper Image one) at a reasonable price, so I'd still recommend it.

I am surprised how much this helped. The cushion is fairly dense and solid, so it's got a lot of support. I have not been diagnosed with any medical condition but my back ACHES from sitting hours at the computer. I also have to sit for hours in random chairs. (I am a deposition reporter.) So I wanted an easily portable, professional-looking cushion. Great for the price! *update: I liked it so much I came back and bought one for a friend.

Very comfortable and relieved back and hip discomfort when I use in the car or on hard chairs or benches. I do not like the little black grippers on the bottom. They must be there to keep the cushion from sliding but they rub off on the car seat and make a mess to clean up. Otherwise it's a great cushion, made with very substantial materials except those little grippers.

The cushion is comfortable, but not big enough and I am a small woman. I am constantly trying to re-arrange it while I am driving and it never stays in place. Can't imagine what a bigger person must go through!!

Can sit for longer periods of time without fatigue. Awesome cushion. Originally bought one at Sam's and then ordered another and could not tell the difference. I read the reviews that said they had changed the product make up from all gel to foam and gel. Well I never cut my original one open and did not cut this one open but they feel the same and work wonderfully.
