Spaas Unscented Pillar Candle 80/250 mm, 115 Hours, Ivory

This is a good quality candle which is a nice size with a classic ivory appearance which I much prefer compared to the pure white candles. It is easy to light and burns with a nice bright flame without any signs of sooting or dripping. I've used this twelve times for over an hour each time. The candle is showing little sign of use and I can see that it is going to last for a substantial time. Highly recommended.

Very happy with this candle. I needed a relatively large pillar candle for a Christmas candle holder I’d bought (also here on Amazon). This candle was a nice ivory colour at the perfect size (100/80) for the holder I’d bought. At £12 and a 100 hours stated burn time it should be perfect for my Yule season needs. The candle burns clean and looks lovely in the candle base in my home. It lights easily and burns steadily and smoothly with no smoking or residue. I would definitely recommend.

I think I must have received a very defective product. I bought this in place of my usual brand because of its high reviews. I needed a long burning candle as it was to burn as part of a memorial. Unfortunately, I stood it on my trusty candle plate, lit it (on day of delivery) and less these 5 hours later it collapsed down through the centre, spilling molten wax on the shelf, floor and annoyingly inside my radiator (not on). This could have been extremely dangerous in a home with animals or young children! I now have a mess to clear, I’m still not sure how I’m going to get the wax out of the radiator before it’s turned on this winter..???? I got a refund from a helpful and apologetic Amazon customer service advisor, but needless to say, I will not risk buying the same brand again.

This is a candle of the expected dimensions advertised. You can light it using the wick at the top of the candle. The flat end of the candle is for standing the candle upright. When it is lit with a match or a lighter, you get a flame. The flame will burn the candle wax and gradually the candle will melt. This particular candle is white and works exactly as I hoped my candle would work.
