I have a double recliner couch and a stand alone recliner. Over the last 10+ years, all 3 of the handle controls have broken. I have replaced them all with this unit. It's a do-it-your self repair that saves you money. When the one broke last week, I just went to Amazon and two days later all is fixed .Price is right, fix is easy!

The one that came with our chair broke in a couple of months, and then was replaced under warranty. About a month later, that one broke, so I decided to pick up this replacement. It's been fine for over a year now.

It works well with the chair although it is shorter. I thought it might cause a problem but it doesn't.Also it doesn't come with the spring. I just took the spring off the old one and moved to the new one. This was a bit of a pain but it can be done.

My husband was happy to recline again in under 10 minutes, all he needed was a screwgun to fix it. Next time I’ll get the two pack of replacements, as there are three more reclining parts to our sofa set that may need replacing. Definitely recommend!
