Indepth instructions by top copic artists who actually are working in the field and using the materials that they are demonstrating. Great techniques and colored pictures throughout the book.I have the series, Level 1 though 4 and would buy them again in a heart beat.

I now have to return this because it is missing the CD.

This book has given me the basic shading and coloring knowledge that I need in order to make attractive greeting cards that I am proud to give to my friends and family. I was never an artist, but when I took up rubber stamping I thought that I didn't really need to be an artist. Unfortunately, without an understanding of light and shading, my cards were flat. I didn't have time for an art class to figure out the basics. This book was fun, easy to follow and I absolutely adored the CD that provided the drawings to practice coloring.

These good coloring guides are helpful for use with any kind of colored media, not just Copics. Of course, the Copic markers are ever the best, so you need to use them correctly because they are expensive. With the practice pictures you can perfect your technique with cheap markers and then go to your Copics for the final version.

I've taken a few classes from Copic instructors but found some new tips I hadn't heard in this book. I liked this one better than the first book in that it provided 30 pages of technique tips and instruction (first book had 20 pages of this info) before moving into the project pages.

Excellent book that helps one use Copic markers to get colors that look natural. The highlights for nature objects are explained and shown in detail as to how to get the proper look and how to decide where light is coming from and then coloring appropriately. These authors do a good job with the copic marker training and one teaches classes on Copic Markers. Excellent help in learning to color for beginner or the experienced artist or papercraft person.

I am a beginner and this book is great for me. Only drawback is, just like with many crafting books (knitting books are the same way), the "resources" listed are difficult to locate even if they are listed in the back of the book. Things like stamps may no longer be available.

This is a very useful book for anyone that cannot draw or colour. With the aid of your own stamps or the pre-installed digi stamps on the enclosed cd rom you print out images and colour. The book includes step by step images on how to colour and shade, telling you which numbered Copic markers to use. Even if you don't have all the colours shown, I have used the nearest number that I have, and had brilliant results. Which to me look very professional, especially as Copic markers give your images that airbrushed appearance.Also there are cards to make but they don't use the digi images on the cd rom, which I would say was my only dissappointment. But other than that it is a great book and an improvement to the previous book, which had no cd rom enclosed (but is still a useful book).

More advanced than I was expecting. I got for my 13 year old. Casual colouring this is for more professional
