The DuraHinge spine and DuraEdge design make it sturdier than the cheaper economy binders I’ve tried in the past—no cracking at the edges or splitting after months of opening and closing. The 1.5" slant rings hold a good amount of paper (up to 375 sheets), and the rear-mounted rings help the binder lay flat when open, which makes flipping through pages much smoother. I really like the customizable view covers. It’s easy to slip in a title page or spine label so you can quickly identify what’s inside. The clear overlay is also PVC-free, which means inserts don’t stick or warp over time. Inside, the two nonstick pockets are handy for holding loose handouts, receipts, or documents you don’t want hole-punched. One thing to note is that while it’s durable, it’s not the “heavy-duty” series—so if you’re constantly lugging binders around or stuffing them to capacity every day, you might want Avery’s Heavy-Duty line. But for everyday office use, school, or home organization, this one is more than enough. Bottom line: A sturdy, well-designed binder with smooth page turning, strong rings, and a customizable cover. A reliable upgrade from basic binders that won’t fall apart with regular use.

I recently purchased the Durable 3 Ring White Binder with 1 Inch Rings for my child's teacher. The binder comes with a clear front, allowing for easy customization and personalization. Inside, there are two pockets which provide some additional storage and organization options. The teacher specifically requested this binder system for her class, which speaks volumes about its quality. Upon inspection, I found the binder to be sturdy and durable. The rings hold papers securely, without any issues of them falling out or getting misaligned. The overall construction of the binder appears to be of good quality, promising longevity. Overall, I am very satisfied with the Durable 3 Ring White Binder with 1 Inch Rings. It meets the teacher's requirements and seems to be a reliable option for organizing and storing classroom materials.

I haven't owned a binder in years, since high school. I decided that it was high time I grew up and started organizing my paperwork and manuals in something other than incoherent stacks. I purchased a few of these binders along with some pocket folders and sheet protectors. I used the pocket folders for the larger bound manuals. I used the sheet protectors for manuals that were single page, or just a few pages. I'm really happy with the quality and utility of the binders so far. I'm going to print out some labels to tuck into the spine and the front to indicate which manuals are inside the binder (like an index). I'm excited about this addition to my disorganized life. This is what happens when you get older. Now, get off my lawn, you disrespectful youts!

If getting an Avery binder, definitely go with the "Durable" model over the "Economy" and the "Heavy Duty" - here's why: - The Economy use very flimsy cardboard and therefore the binders bend very easily. The material used to cover the binder is also thinner and tears easily. These binders are a total waste and I would not even use them for light use. - The Heavy Duty have what they call a one-touch EZD ring. This means instead of two tabs to open the rings - one at the top and one at the bottom - there is only one at the bottom and it actually opens very easily. So easily that with little use the rings will actually develop gaps. Gaps obviously continue to get worse over time, make it so difficult to turn pages, and also cause pages to come out and tear where the holes are. In addition, the rings don't open evenly which also contributes to the gaps. With a tab on only one end it will pull one side of the rings with more strength than it pulls the other side. I'm not a fan of the one-touch EZD ring for these reasons. - The Durable model - this model - is the one I prefer. For starters, the cardboard used is quite sturdy and will protect the contents stored in your binder. -- The cover material is of decent quality and it takes very heavy daily use, often over years to cause damage such as tears. Some of the Avery Durable binders I have are easily 8 years old - a few others lasted only 3 years. It just varies on your usage. -- The rings make a loud noise when opened and closed using the tabs - it is a very strong closure and they are very strong quality.In my experience they have not developed gaps in the rings, even when the binders are filled to capacity. Note that I only ever open/close the rings using both end tabs - I never pull or push on the rings themselves. -- The d-ring does have a bit more of a slant than I prefer, but that's about the only real down side here. The larger the binder, the bigger the ring slant. -- Binders have standard front and back pockets. They also have clear view pockets on front, back and spine.

Good value, I’ve bought and used many!

I save recipes that I find on-line and I print them out and put them in binders for future use...I hate having to try to remember what site certain recipes are on and then having to go back into the site and trying to find it. Well, my 1 inch binder was filled to exploding so I got this and a pack of 100 sheet protectors and everything is now organized and not so jam packed anymore. The binder is heavy duty and has pockets front and back inside. It also has a full clear pocket in front and back and along the rib so you can put a label to indicate what the binder has in it. Mine simply says "Recipes" but other I have purchased (for my husband) have owners manuals and parts lists for mowers, snow equipment, motorcycles, etc. A great way to organize mens' messes!

Recently, my Dad lent me a 2" D-Ring binder for one of my college courses with a looseleaf textbook. I fell in love with the design, because I could flip through the book, and close the binder without having to adjust the position of the book. I'm so accustomed to pulling the bulk out from under the round rings, on both sides, just to completely close a binder with round rings. I am forever a fan of D-Ring binders now, and these binders are the most superior quality binders I've owned in all 18 of my college courses thus far. I will be adding many more D-ring binders to my collection as my degree program continues.

I used this product for holding my Pokemon Cards and it has worked pretty well so far. The spine has an easily removable sticker, and the front was a piece of printed paper inside of the sleeve. Pretty much a standard binder, but I like it and I'm glad that I found a nice quality one that was just a one pack.

Very cheap cardboard with plastic covering. Bent immediately. But something better.
