Yellow Jacket 60241 Electric Manual Lightweight Flaring Tool

Daikin 48k btu compressor mini split with 7 heads and 3 branch port plus compressor line sets. I cut all the fittings off the line sets and put new ones on using this tool. 3 months later no leaks. What nice about this tool it has a notch to stop the copper tube to proper height for flaring. Although some of the fittings came out small. So you need to buy the guide to check the radius. Twist to click to stop and one more turn then release the clutch. I did 36 flares and it was my very first time flaring. All I can say is this tool is expensive, but with no leaks at 36 fittings to troubleshoot. Had a leak occurred well worth the price. .. to go with a cheaper tool the price of r410a…U will be wishing u would have bought a better tool. Get the oil to dap on the copper when making the flair too. U have to but the torque wrench too with different size lugs u can place on the wrench, also very expensive.

I love this tool it makes perfect flares and its easy with using the impact, but I lost my bit to use my impact on it and I was wondering if anyone know where to get replace impact adapter bits

This tool is lightweight and easy to change from hand to electric. The stopper on the tool makes lining up the pipe easy. I have extensively used this tool over the past two years on dozens of mini-split installations and have never had to redo a flare.

I have problem in new Yellow jacket flaring tool.In my opinion iron ball size is not right size, after couple times dis-assemble and assemble the manual handle, ball pass through the hole.How can I fix it or How can I serviced from you or replaced?Finally I fix the issue by replace the iron ball to some bigger one by myself.Product is best but support system is not so good.I tried to contact to Yellow Jacket international sales and marketing, but no one answer to me.

This tool is fantastic it has a gauge setting so you don't make your flare to big and the fact you can use your drill to flare it saves time and helps your wrist and forearm if you have alot of systems to install I will be getting another.

It does the work a pleasure , but as it last short time , therefore not very useful.
