Works really well, easy to install

Very affordable and completely worth it! It works well with an inline water filter with 1/4" quick connect tubing. No leaks or overflows in the elbows / shutoff valves / float after a few weeks of use so far. This saves countless minutes every day that add up to hours of standing at the sink waiting for filtered water to fill up a container that then gets poured into the reservoir. I was fortunate enough that the placement of the coffee maker was on an exposed wall from the basement side of the kitchen backsplash where the main PEX plumbing line was, making a hookup through the backsplash pretty easy with the right tools. You can also hook this up to your kitchen sink inlet area with the right 3-way adapter tee. It looks like a toilet shutoff valve but with a 1/4" quick connect tubing. You will need to drill a hole and have a bulkhead pass-through the sink area or drywall regardless of how you hook this up to a water line. Be mindful of local code and electrical wiring. I wouldn't suggest putting 1/4" quick connect tubing behind non-accessible drywall. Installing this in a K-Classic lid wasn't terribly difficult, though the step-bit included is quite dull. You will want a drill and a serrated knife or small saw to cut out a tiny notch you'll need on the hole perimeter after you drill out the hole, as the float has a keyhole notch to keep it from spinning around. I purchased a replacement lid and reservoir so as to be able to remove this in the future, as you will be drilling a hole in the lid. To find the right place for the hole, there are no instructions or templates, but with a marker and painter's tape it's quite easy to find the suitable spot so the float doesn't crash into any portion of the tank: - With the lid on the reservoir and viewed from the flat side, align the float at the lid-angle so the round end of the float has clearance to bob up and down without impacting the reservoir. You will be holding the float valve with your hand outside of the tank as if it were inside. Eyeball the small hole in the stem that will be sticking out from the lid from where you will connect the elbow and mark it on tape on the lid. This is your Y point. To find the X point: - With the lid off, tape a horizontal piece of tape over the open reservoir edges from side to side at the smallest part, where the area curves in like a backwards C shape, to the right over the edge. The center point between the backwards C and the | edge is the X point. Mark the lip on the left and right with a marker, as well as the center point. Peel the tape template off, put the lid on, and then tape it in the same spot on the lid itself. Take a ruler or eyeball straight up the X point to the Y point, and that's your drill hole mark. It should be somewhat center and at the top of the lid. In this way, the float should be centered with clearance in the X and Y planes of the reservoir. On a K-Classic, the tiny keyhole notch should be at the center bottom of the hole. Take your time with sawing out the small notch so it's a nice snug fit.

This kit is very easy to install. Everything you need in one kit. Remember, to keep from cracking the plastic on your coffee maker water reservoir lid, build up a stack of old cardboard and place under it when drilling. Use low drill force with the drill on high speed and the plastic will not Crack. A+ on this product.

Works well, quick to install. Sometimes the float makes the lid to the water reservoir raise up a little, but it has never over-filled.

Love this product! The kit is complete with all the necessary fitting and all of the parts seem good quality. I installed it in my Ninja CFN601 with one valve about two inches from the reservoir (easy access) and one valve upstream of the tee. It took a minute to figure out the positioning because the reservoir has molded hand grips that could interfere with the float, depending on the location of the valve on the reservoir cover and the axial rotation of the valve. With careful alignment it fits just fine. That said, installing the shutoff valve to be accessible from the countertop is critical- in case the float binds. The valves and fittings are John Guest-type fittings, which are superior to compression fittings and leak resistant when moved/bumped. I was trying to piece together a kit like this using brass parts, but this works well and is probably better than any kit I could have cobbled together.

This thing is freaking amazing. Works awesomely with no leaks, took 10 minutes to setup, and it's not that noisy not that it would matter. It works super well. I hooked it up to a filter too to get clean water. I hooked it up to a ninja coffee maker. Someone kept using fridge water to fill up our Keurig machine and it had black mold or something in it so I got the company to order this coffee maker and kit. The only other thing you will need is the connector that splits a 3/8 into a 1/4 on the side. Does not come with the pipe tape

2 Year Update: this is still going strong. We love this and now we can't imagine having to fill the coffee maker! Having this has allowed us to create a coffee nook out of a fairly narrow cabinet space when we remodeled our kitchen since we don't need frequent access to the back of the coffee maker anymore. Original review: Works great on our Ninja CP301 with a slight modification. There is a tab at the top of the reservoir that indicates the max water level that we needed to cut off in order for the float to completely rise. Not a ton of room to work with in the Ninja, but it is doable for sure, just need a little hacksaw! I'm including a couple of pics to show placement. We also taped down the lid with electrical tape as other reviews suggested. So happy that this works!!! We are not K cup people and I had only found one coffee maker that is designed for direct line water...but we love our Ninja - this is EXACTLY what we needed! We bought longer tubing since we wanted to keep our coffee maker where it is at and not move it next to our fridge. We luckily have an unfinished basement, so we teed off of the line to the fridge below deck and came up through the floor and through the cabinet. Even drilled a little hole in the granite countertop for a nice clean install. This kit is a winner!

Love my automatic coffee maker filler. I installed myself. It was easy. Attaches to ice maker water line. Works great!
