Progress Lighting 1-Light Sconce, Torino Collection, Indoor, P7181-77, Forged Bronze

Looks great on the wall leading up the stairs. Perfect size and is exactly what I expected. Was very easy to replace the existing fixture which had become outdated.

Returned these two since the hardware holes don't even come close to lining up and I don't feel like drilling glass. This is as was mentioned by another reviewer. See photos.

The light appears as pictured. However when installing, the holes on the metal ring do not match up with the holes in the glass. We should have returned this item however my husband spent a significant amount of time drilling wider holes in the glass and bending the metal ring and it still does not go together easily or completely. Would not recommend.

You might say to yourself "if this guy thinks this is a pain to install, he doesn't know what he's doing". I beg to differ.........I have lots of experience installing lighting and other fixtures. However, I found this one particularly aggravating to install. The way the mount is designed, it makes it rather tough to gauge your depth if mounting on a hard surface. As a disclaimer, if you were to drill a hole where the hollow bolt (where the wires run from the back of the fixture to the front) meets the wall, you won't have a problem with it at all. However, I chose not to do that and deal with the aggravation of setting the sconce, taking it down and adjusting the hollow bolt, and resetting it. It looks very nice once set, and seems to be a solid product. Though aggravating because of my choice of installation, the sconce itself seems to be well made and a product that will last a long time.

I installed 3 of these over six months ago. I bought them based on the size and colors to match my room. They matched the description and look great in the room. Put them on one circuit with a dimmer and they turned out great. Easy to assemble as I recall. Using incandesents and I have no complaints.

Disappointed to find that the holes in the metal ring did not line up with the holes in the glass shade during installation. This made assembly difficult and meant I had to drill new holes. However once I finally got the light installed it looks good.

Installation was easy and this is built very durable. The only problem I have with it is it's YELLOW in color. I guess I knew that before I bought it, and I wanted something WHITE, but couldn't find anything decent on the cheap, so I settled for this. It's nice, and really made well, but I'll probably change out for something white when I find it if the price is right.

This was a snap to install and it looks very nice and very much like the online picture. We put it in a stairway down to our finished basement. We actually ended up inverting the light to install it up-side-down so more light went down stairs and the view from upstairs wasn't down into the bell. But up-side-down it worked great. We're planning on buying another for our basement hallway. If you can see the bulb from any vantage point, fluorescent bulbs will draw attention. We use a new type of LED bulb from Home Depot that has a warm glow and incandescent bulb look (although it isn't quite as bright as the fluorescent.
