I was looking for a budget-friendly alternative to expensive Santa Maria grills, and this exceeded my expectations. The material and construction are very solid and actually exceeded my expectations in terms of quality and durability. It was very easy to assemble, and it fits perfectly in my 22" Weber kettle. It works great for Argentinian-style barbecue over an open fire, and the adjustable grate makes it easy to manage the heat for optimal cooking. This Santa Maria grill attachment for my Weber Kettle was exactly what I was looking for. I'd been meaning to get one for awhile but other models on Amazon had mixed reviews. This Ash and Ember model seemed to be a higher build quality and when Amazon provided a 20% off coupon I decided to finally give it a try. I'm glad I did. The Build Quality is indeed top notch and the assembly was super easy (15 minutes at most). When you place the attachment on the weber kettle it fits perfectly and although I was worried it might be 'top heavy' that was not the case - it's stable. Raise your cooking to the next level - literally! I love the flavors produced by the Weber Kettle but the ability to raise and lower the grates was always problematic. Not anymore. This attachment allows me so much freedom to move the grate up or down WITH EASE. The hand wheel and lever are super simple and as an added bonus you can ADD MORE FUEL (charcoal, wood, etc) so easily now - just crank up the grate and add in what you need. I've always wanted to cook a Santa Maria style Tri-Tip and similar style sear/smoke/cook cuts and now I finally can. My very first cook exceeded my expectations and I've been off and running ever since. Trust me - I provide honest reviews from a real person who paid my own money to buy this. You do the same and you'll b glad you did.

Great little Santa Maria attachment for the price. The attachment is well built, assembles easily and fits my 22” Weber kettle with no issues. No complaints whatsoever.

Fits great on the large Weber. Keep that grate oiled. A good option if your not sure whether or not to jump into open fire grilling or not.
