What is the minimum weight or size recommendations? My 8 month old is only 14 lbs.

We had our daughter in it at 6 months and she was 12lbs. We always supervised and shoved a towel behind her. She absolutely loved it!!

What is the maximum weight for children in this?

Prob around 30lbs or it starts to get a bit sinky

What is the weight limit?

Not 100 percent sure but this product was not as good as others I have used in the past.

why doesn't the canopy stay up?

The lock where the canopy meets the float doesn’t hold. You are suppose to pull the canopy a little to lock it in place. Even when we would feel the lock, it would fall back with the tension of the back strap.
