Is this a good product to add volume to fine, straight hair?

Yes, this is the product for straight fine hair. I use phomollient styling foam everyday. I use a curling iron to give my hair some shape and the phomollient helps the curl hold.

Is this a foam shampoo?

No. As it says, it is a styling foam mousse. NOT a shampoo. You should not rinse it out after applying it. Adds shine and volume.

Is this product unscented?

It is not unscented. It has an herby fragrance. Peppermint and ylang ylang are ingredients and you can smell them both. But once my hair dries I don’t smell it.
