works like its supposed to, been using for a few years and no issues yet. if you over tighten and use it for an extended period you well need pliers to undo the nut though.

This thing works just fine or my GoPro Hero 7. It seems sturdy enough (I'm not going to force it to find out!) :-) But for now I feel safe that even if I break this first one, I still have 3 to go! Good product.

I went for the cheapest I could find, found one cheaper but buying this it was cheaper per mount. I'm glad I bought this set, in my setup to use a ring light on my gopro I ended up using two of them. I have gotten a few gopro accessory 'grab bags' with these but they always get lost for some reason, probably because I don't use them much. They seem well made, the right size to fit my gopro, I've had accessories that were a little off on the size. The nuts aren't molded in, they're just acorn nuts, but they fit snugly so I don't think they'll fall out. I see gopro accessories as something that will get broke/lost, when you use a camera for action this tends to happen. I don't want to spend a whole lot on accessories, if they seem sturdy enough that they won't snap and my gopro will fall I think that is enough. These hover between brittle and over-priced machined aluminium and that is where I like my accessories.

This is a great quality product, with a great price. I've bought other tripod mount adapters before, including the Gopro branded ones, and this product is on par with the quality of the Gopro adapters. One of the four mount adapters was a bit stuck at first but very soon loosened up. They do allow for a little bit of movement for the Gopro if your doing some high intensity things ( ex. mountain biking) But they fit right and do their job. I have two action cams but I don't always use them on the standard GoPro mounts -- many times I want to use them on a tripod, monopod, slider or dolly. For that, you need an adapter like this. Getting four of them in one inexpensive package is a great option because I tend to misplace these and can't find them when I need them. Having extras helps a lot. This set comes at a very fair price and I highly recommend them.

I bought these sametop tripod mount adapters to replace my mount I had broken. These match up perfectly to my GoPro camera stick (selfie stick) as well as my friends (who have two different brands). So if your worried they won't match up odds are they will just fine. They are sturdy and hold my camera well. I will definitely be using them in the future if I need to buy more.

I have used several of these in the past with my DJI OSMO camera. I use them to mount cameras on my motorcycle helmets, on a regular tripod and with an adapter that will hold a smart phone. They are well worth the cost. Always order in 4's though, as I tend to misplace them too easily... lol!

First let me say I have no idea why GoPro didn't include at least one of these in the package when I bought my Hero 3. These are very handy and essential if you are intending to mount your camera on a tripod. I didn't really need four pieces but figured for around 2 bucks apiece they would be handy enough and nice to have a couple of spares. These are of sturdy construction and fit my camera frame perfectly, very easy to install and use.
