Kent Infinity Plus Shaving Brush with Ultra-Soft Silvertext Synthetic Badger Brush - Perfect Lather and Shaving Brush made for Shave Cream and Shaving Soap - Kent Luxury Shaving Since 1777

First use this morning...absolutely delightful experience. I like to characterize the "look, feel & shave quality" (LFSQ) of the brush. Just outstanding and worthy of the "Kent" name and history in my opinion...stands just slightly taller than the Simpson T3 Synthetic Brush (also a first class experience). Simply stated, I wanted a synthetic brush, and notwithstanding a few negative comments, persisted and purchased this Kent Infinity Plus (large) and took a chance because of the name, reputation and history of the Kent organization...am so pleased with my purchase, just as I am with the Simpson T3 Synthetic. The brush splayed quite well (slightly different from the Simpson T3), held an enormous amount of water and lather and together with a firm backbone delivered a fine lathering brush application. By the way, the look and the feel of the brush is superb as well. I did three passes without going back to the soap. It was simply a fine experience. Lastly, please allow me to point out that as an attorney and retired soldier, I am not obliged to write reviews (positive or negative) about any product. I simply call it as I see it.

The one dislike is the narrow taper of the brush handle . A bit awkward in my hand perhaps fine for others . The overall brush performance is very nice

Okay, giving this 5 stars but mixed feelings about the brush. Push lightly while face-lathering and it is as soft as any silvertip I own, maybe softer. Push medium, pretty scritchy feeling. Push hard, this thing feels like it has fiberglass shards in and gets way too sharp feeling. At that point, scratchier and more abrasive than any of the 30+ shaving brushes I own. Definitely has a lot of backbone. However, the knot is a little too short. With more loft could definitely generate more lather. Seems to be on the weak side for generating lather compared to most of my brushes. Adequate, just not great. Would give it 4 stars, but considering it's a synthetic, dries quickly, and dirt cheap, giving it full 5 stars.

Well designed but the quality of the nylon syntactic bristles are bad - they scratch you very rough on the skin as you apply the soap. I prefer the Simpson trafalgar or frank shaving brushes for the price about a million time. I do not recommend.

Good quality brush- could be softer

Simply put, the Kent Infinity brush is too small in all of its dimensions. It's too short, It's got too small of a diameter; and the handle could also be larger. In my opinion, it wasn't worth the price.

Did not know that it comes in sizes

I really like this brush. For comparison it’s a bit taller than the Simpson T3, the knot has about the same width and it’s slightly stiffer, which I like for lathering pucks or hard shave soaps. The only knock is the brush came damaged with a chipped edge on the base of the handle. The factory packaging was crushed on one side and I checked it but could not locate the chipped off piece, so I have no idea If he damage occurred pre packaging, storage or during shipment. It does not effect the brush so far and hopefully the chipped edge won’t crack with further use. I’d give it 5 stars had the handle not been damaged. For the price I chose not to send it back.
