I noticed on one of the example pics that there is a glossy metallic grey? would anyone know how do i get that color since there is only black/white

When the picture was taken.. there was a white material above the shooting area (eg. sheet of paper / plastic or in a light tent) the gray is a reflection of the white material above, it appears to be gray because it is reflecting off a black surface.

Can I order two white boards instead of one color of each?

No.. These are sent to Amazon packaged as a set with one black and one white.

Is the white board translucent at all?

The white sheet is not 100% opaque, it is slightly translucent.
