I was looking for a good self etching aluminum primer. This primer works very well and it sprays on really good. It has excellent adhesion.

Bought two colors black and gray so can paint two colors to get solid coats in between with no misses. Three coats total on my utility trailer.

Sandblasted a gooseneck trailer applies 3 gallons to trailer used 1.7 tip laid down nice use mixer in drill to mix because solids fall to bottom as all paints do

Used to prime a aluminum boat and it worked perfectly! I would definently but again. I was well impressed at the quality and ease of use. You still need to prep before but it makes a solid base coat that clings to the metal. I’ve already covered the boat in Berliner but the seats still need painting and are the primer sprayed on.

Shoots well, maybe a tad too thick, but sanded well, too. 1 gal covered full-sized pickup

I had been using SEM. This appears to have more ingredients than the SEM product. So additional stirring is required! ~P.

i had pretty good prep work done prior to applying this primer. adhesion was good but i particularity bought it because i understood it to be none sanding and the price was pretty good. next time i'll make sure its sand-able. It was nice being ready to use out of the can.
