What a wonderful case for my husband’s archaic phone he loves so much! SE 1st generation Apple. It is perfect for him. I read so many reviews about how hard Jelanry iPhone 5S case was to put on phone I almost didn’t buy it. From start to finish to finish 3 minutes. Done by a 78 year woman! Both of us so happy and for only $8.00. Love it.

Good thing they had the installation video because the written instructions aren't quite up to snuff, especially since the pictures don't look like the case I purchased. I could not get that outer case off, but once I watched the video, I persevered and got it installed. Seems sturdy enough. We shall see.

Seems to be tougher than a Otter but lacks a screen protector.

Installation was tricky, but I had done it before. It's important to realize that there are 3 pieces to this case. Warming the case (slightly) makes removal of the outside soft case easier. Also running a toothpick in the crack between the outside and inside cases was helpful. This replacement fit my 2016 SE perfectly.

Nice case for my old iPhone 5s. Fits perfectly and seems like it will protect well. I’d recommend getting a screen protector with it, which I already had. Still- it’s hefty enough to help protect the edge of your phone (and screen to a degree) as it is.

This was this worst p o s I have ever purchased. My guess would that this item was made when the iphone 5 came out and may have sat in some hot storage spot till now. That might help explain why the supposedly soft/flexible(?) outer case was stuck tightly to the hard case and couldn't be separated to try to insert the phone per the directions (which were therefor useless. That's completely ignoring the bulkiness of the unit and that the coating/cover over the location of the phone controls were immovable. My rating shows 1 star only because you don't allow no stars BUT you may want to consider allowing no stars or possibly adding negative stars for items like this
