Did something stupid and dropped a battery on the top of my foot. My toe took the brunt of the impact. But it's awkward placement. It's weight bearing and a pivot point. This boot has helped so much. I wear a women's size 8 and there is plenty of room in this with the compression wrap on my foot. There is a little wiggle room towards the toes and some play in the heel. Depending on the day, it doesn't bother me, but some days it can rub a little. I found no issues with adjusting the Velcro to get a snug fit. It doesn't rub the top of my foot. The sole is thick! It absorbs a lot of impact and doesn't translate to the actual foot. I like this being smaller than my last boot that ran up to my knee. This doesn't make my foot sweat a ton either. Overall a really good boot.

I have a broken right pinky toe. My Podiatrist did not recommend any boot other than to tape my toe with the toe next to it. I found wearing the widest tennis shoes uncomfortable and looked on Amazon for a medical shoe. This one came the following day after I ordered it. Other customers reviews were right. This shoe is so comfortable to walk in and provides the support needed. No painful steps. Not bulky, medium fits well for my shoe size 8 1/2. Velcro is durable. You can wear regular socks. Overall not priced too high. Well worth it!

I really wanted to give it 5 stars but I ordered a second boot about 10 days after the first, same size, I duplicated the order. The new boot was different, it fit different. And it opened the opposite direction as the other boot. There’s no left or right option so what gives? A few final thoughts: it’s actually quite comfortable. Had I not found it I’m not sure I would have ever used anything at all. The one the doctor gave me was about as useless as they come. This boot makes it easy to get in and out of and therefore keeps me using it. The sizing is odd. The boot says I should be a large but I’m an established 11.5 and this boot is still a little loose. So I’d say it runs large. The boot is super durable. I’ve spread yards and yards of gravel and spent the last two days walking on a roof and climbing a ladder. The boot has served its purpose fully. I’m not out running a marathon but I’m sure not sitting around feeling bad for myself either. When I go out where there will be a lot of people I wear another sock and then wrap it lightly in Coban. It helps me fill out the boot a bit more thereby securing my foot in the boot. Less of a tripping hazard and less chance of the foot moving around when it gets bumped or stepped on. The boot really is a life changer. P.s. boot maker people, maybe make a super duper high end version that laces up and offers a bit more protection but maintains the rigidity for healing. Think of it as work/public vs. running to the mailbox. I’d pay for that immediately. $2/day for 6 weeks? Worth it!

This works very well for my broken pinky toe. Good protection, comfortable padding, wide toe box and affordable. I've been wearing it daily for two weeks now and it's comfortable, protective and durable.

Ladies, BEWARE these are mens sized! I wear a ladies wide EEE 7, the medium was a boat on my foot! I ordered a small next...never thought I'd get the SAME exact boot, shipped in a size sm bag! (I still had the medium and measured them back to back and found them to be identical! Soooo, I just ordered an xsm, will see what happens with that! Stay tuned! Other info: it is very wide, not very comfortable/hard as a rock solewise (so i put an insert in that fits me, inside and it helps cushion the sole.) It is soft mostly on the shoe fabric, with no hard plastic to haul around (like the 12 lb boot I'd been wearing, for 3 bone fractures, on top of my foot!) It has a VERY high instep strap, which i had to remove, just to be able to walk in this thing. So in comparison to the large knee height medical boot, it's an improvement. I like that it is closed toe and light weight. Just BEWARE of the mens sizing; save yourself from multiple exchanges and waiting for a more confortable fit, while you rehab!

As advertised! Perfect after a toe procedure. The boot allowed me to walk and feel comfortable that my toe was protected. The shoe covering is soft on top which was perfect. The strap near the ankle was very long and the strap around the foot was provide plenty of room to be as tight or loose as needed.

Just arrived, decent quality (not meant to last a long time). Broken foot bone. It's working well to protect and feel secure. Would buy again

Unfortunately I have broken my toes twice in 1 year! This product has been a life saver. Its comfortable and keeps my foot protected. It is soft at the toes, where I would think it should be a hard plastic instead to provide more protection, and the strap that appears to wrap around your ankle is a weird angle, so it doesn't quite feel right. I may be putting it on wrong. Overall, I do love this brace and how comfortable it is. I wear it outside with no issues.

Tuve un esguince de tobillo, grado 2, y aunque tengo una bota de una fractura anterior, quise comprar esta bonita especialmente para proteger mi pie al salir, funcionó de maravilla, al principio hay que adaptarse a ella, pero después es cómoda y útil, porque protegió muy bien mi tobillo. Solo que comprar un poco más grande, porque de largo me quedó corta

It is very soft from upper part and doesn’t hold at all. Totally useless if you need to hold your foot in position. Waste of money and not returnable
