Review: Extremely fun! - I’ve always loved puzzle books for that good prefrontal cortex workout, but it’s surprisingly hard to find one that focuses on actual logic puzzles without the filler of word searches or crosswords. This one hits the mark. The puzzles gradually increase in difficulty, which keeps things engaging without ever feeling overwhelming. I didn’t find any of them particularly challenging, but they were consistently fun and thoughtfully designed. The variety is impressive; I found myself enjoying everything from Nonograms and Calcudoku to the more cryptic, layered challenges. It’s clear a lot of care and creativity went into making this book. Review: Great for a puzzle challenge - UPDATW: I have about 40 puzzles left. I disagree with the reviews about errors *except* on one of the last puzzles the hint has a typo and says line 13 instead of *14, as 13 is impossible and simply the wrong line. The only thing I've disliked about this book is that 9 times out of 10, I felt I MUST use the hint to solve the puzzle, specifically for the logic grids. Maybe that's just a knock on my skill, and not the book. I do agree with others that the logic grid topics and names became repetitive, especially depending on how frequently I would puzzle at a time. I recommend if you need a new book. I wish the author had books of each the Masyu and monograms! ORIGINAL REVIEW: Purchased in 2021 and on pg 66 of 160. I take this out anytime I feel the need to raise my white matter or the puzzle juices are flowing! It's a great little book and I like that the puzzles get more difficult by stages as you progress through it.

Unique take but a few errors
There are five main puzzle types throughout the book with an occasional unique twist where you find a word in the solution that culminates into a large puzzle at the end of the book. I loved this feature and got really into flipping to find these special puzzles so I could solve the big one at the end. I’ve never seen anything like this and it kept me very engaged and interested. Just personal preference and no impact on my rating, but it’s worth noting - I have apps for sudoku and nonograms so it was just tedious to do these by hand. Just keep that in mind if you’re in the same boat. Logic grid puzzles are the only reason I buy puzzle books and I was disappointed to find these felt pretty repetitive (the same issue I have with logic puzzle apps). As others have said, there are quite a few errors in the solutions and hints. The author seems like a huge puzzle nerd so I’m not sure how so many mistakes got through him and editor/publishers. The explanation on the puzzle type I hadn’t seen before (masyu) was confusing until I looked at the solution a few times to try and figure out what he was trying to say. A lot of puzzle books assume you already know how to play everything so I guess I can’t complain too much. The handful of completely new puzzles in the back were hit and miss for me. There are no instructions because the author expects you to use logic (!) to figure it out. Sometimes I got it, sometimes I didn’t even understand after looking at the solution. And some of them make you question how any one would figure it out (e.g., figuring out a pun from a blocky picture). Maybe I’m just dumb.. but I don’t think a few lines of instruction would go amiss. Finally, the binding is terrible for this type of book. I appreciate the quality paper and quality look of the cover, but a looser spine or spiral bind would make this much more enjoyable to use.

Best Puzzle Book of All Time
My favorite puzzle book of all time. I wish this author made another one just like it. I love all the puzzles. They are fun and challenging. They progress in difficulty as you go along. So much better than other puzzle books that waste your time with seek and find pictures.

Nice puzzle book
Great puzzle book to work on and keep me off my phone. Love the spiral bond as I can fold it over.

Editing Issues
For the most part, I enjoyed the puzzles. The wording of some of the logic grid clues are unclear or misleading. Some of the clues actually rule out some of the “knowns”. There’s also errors with some of the hints giving wrong information.

Just what I needed
Love this book so much! I’ve always loved logic puzzles and was looking for a book with a good variety. Difficulty progresses throughout the book, so I often “warm up” with a puzzle earlier in the book before switching to something more challenging. Haven’t encountered errors yet: though reviews do mention there’s a few. I admit, I’m always on my phone: but this book is a sure fire way to get me off my phone and unnaturally absorbed in completing puzzles. Highly recommend, and I hope he comes out with a sequel!

Unresponsive and frustrating
The book is titled Logic Puzzles. However, some puzzles inside rely on Trial and Error instead. I wanted to be fair and contacted the author first, but he ignored all my emails. Hints, especially the Cryptic Puzzles, just gave the final solution but noway of finding out the initial solve did I do it correctly. Once stuck, you are stuck for good. What is the point in putting a website, a Twitter, and a name when people tried to contact him and he can't even see/reply?
