Vol. 1-Love Metal Archives-Ltd

I'm a big fan of HIM and everything on this dvd is great. Their are two interviews and it goes from love songs to and love said no. It has videos and live clips on every album. The only thing I did't like that much was the Bam Margera Heartache every moment clip. Don't get me wrong I'm one of Bams biggest fans, but I don't want to see clips of his girlfriend having sex with another girl. GRoss!!! The only untasteful thing about it. Buy it if you love HIM its worth it!

HIM is my favorite band so my expectations were high when I ordered the Love Metal Archives DVD. I was definitely NOT disappointed. I had not previously seen all of the videos for the songs, and I love the fact that the DVD features both the video and live versions of several of the songs. I think the live performances were my favorite part of the DVD because I feel that they capture the energy and feel of the band and their music as a whole entity. The interviews and making of the video sections were also very good. I highly recommend this DVD!!!

I must say, for anyone who may be a fan of this band, and maybe hasn't seen all of HIM's videos, this is a wonderful purchase. You also get a some interviews from Mr. Valo and Mr. Paananen, as well as some photos. So, basically, if you like the band, like their videos, like some photos, and like some quick interviews, this is a great addition to your video library.

This is a fabulous dvd, chock full of great H.I.M. videos and live performances. However, the NTSC (US) version is an inferior product. I ordered it from various different sources and it would not play many tracks. If you are really serious about H.I.M., it's worth buying the PAL version and getting a DVD player that is in PAL format.

It's awesome! I love seeing the creative evolution of bands and their music videos music videos. Definitely worth having if you are a H.I.M. fan or are interested in the group.

This DVD was soooooo good. The quality was really awesome. It's really nice to be able to watch a HIM music videos without having to stare at a computer screen. I recommand this for all HIM fans. Just make sure that get the right region code thingy. I think thats why alot of people complained about the bad quailty. They got the wrong region number. So make sure you buy the right one. If you live in Canada or the US buy the one called Love Metal Archives not the Love Metal Archive Vol. 1 that one is for region 2 DVD players. By the way, HAPPY HEARTAGRAM DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm more than pleased to say I now own this DVD , not to mention it arrived faster than I expected :) One of my best investments for sure!!! & If YOU LOVE VILLE as much as I DO , you must add this to your H.I.M collection , It's worth it all and more !!! Only regret is I didn't purchase sooner ! Other than that, there is ZERO disappointment :D

I am very happy that I made this purchase! HIM is one of favorite bands ever and I love that I can have many music videos in one place! I also like the effects that the makers of the DVD added. Everything from the history to the music of the menu! If you're a HIM this is a must! The item arrived on time and in perfect condition!

Also für mich persönlich als Anhänger der Band HIM war diese DVD eine Art Offenbarung. Es fängt schon mit dem Layout der DVD an, bei dem man sofort merkt, dass da nicht einfach nur lieblos ein Heartagram auf eine Scheibe gepresst wurde, der Name "HIM" draufgeklatscht wurde und das ganze dann in eine Hülle mit ebenso lieblos gestaltetem Cover geklatscht wurde. Wenn man dann die DVD einlegt und die ruhigen Klavierklänge hört, die im Hintergrund des Menüs laufen und einen sofort in die richtige Stimmung versetzen für das was da nun noch kommen mag, merkt man nun schon das zweite Mal, dass dieser Kauf kein Fehler war. Wenn man dann die Übergänge zwischen den einzelnen Menüs gesehen hat, bei denen sich ein Tribal-Rosenrankenmuster langsam sich windend voranbewegt und das neue Menü formt, kann man im Angesicht dieser Detailverliebtheit nur verzückt lächeln und wenn man sich dann die Videos ansieht... Ich meine...zu der Musik selbst brauche ich wohl nicht viel zu sagen. Wenn man gerne HIM hört, dann hat diese DVD definitiv die 5 Sterne verdient. Ich hätte mir zwar noch das ein oder andere Live-Video dazugewünscht, aber ich habe auch so schon mit dieser DVD mehr bekommen als ich erwartet habe.

Ce DVD est parfait pour quelqu'un qui adore le groupe HIM. On y retrouve beaucoup d'anciens clips du groupe. La qualité d'image n'est pas exceptionnelle, mais il ne faut pas oublier que certains clips datent beaucoup et sont déjà de qualité moyenne à l'origine. Je suis donc ravie de mon achat.

Ordered this primarily for my teenage daughter, who's friend introduced her to Ville Valo & HIM, but I absolutly LOVE IT. It's packed with over 5 hours of amazing music and clips - and not being available here in Australia - it only took 8 days to arrived from England! I am probably out of the normal demographic for HIM being 40 but I can highly recommend this to any music fan - it's quality stuff - and I love the covers of Wicked Game, Solitary Man! Any true fan has to have this - it is absolutly brilliant!!!!!!
