Great Trainer
I purchased this product for my son to help him to swing through the ball. Since he has started playing baseball from t-ball until now in jr. high, he has never swung through the ball. Although, we haven't used them as often as I feel we should, but they have proved to show improvement in his hitting. He is now driving the ball better than he ever has. I do not believe it is because he is getting any stronger; he is 14... My son has no motivation to work out to increase strength, agility, or his flexibility, and this is why I place a lot of success in his improvement from these weighted balls. I have other weighted balls that are more of a baseball that we use to loosen up and strengthen his arm, and we use these as well. I think these are a great deal and recommend them to any parent looking to get their player a gift, any player wanting to improve the hitting, and coaches looking for an incredibly durable hitting trainer.

Great hitting tool
Great product! Have been using this balls everyday for about two weeks. I have noticed a big change in my 10 and 8 year olds' swings. They drive through the ball much better and they finish there swing. Great for adding power to your player''s swing. One thing you have to be careful with, or at least I had to be careful with, is my kids started modifying their swing so they could hit the balls farther. They started straightening their front arm. Mixing up 6 swings with the heavy balls to about 20 with regular balls really helped mitigate the problem. The balls are great for soft toss, hitting off the tee, or short front toss. They don't go very far so they're also great in limited space areas. The one con and the reason they don't get 5 stars is the bright color. I understand they are color coded by weight. I believe white balls to match regular balls would work better. Maybe even some red laces painted on them. This would allow you to switch back and forth between heavy balls and regular balls with out the hitter being able to easily distinguish between the two. Great tool. And as of now, great duribility.

Batter up!
I bought these for my young kids age 8 and less. The product arrived in a timely manner and the packaging was intact. I wanted the smaller diameter because I believe it makes them concentrate a little more to get good contact. If they are not paying attention the ball will simply roll over or under the bat and go nowhere. When they make good contact the ball sails a good distance and gives them positive feedback. The bigger ones are definitely easier to hit, but I don't feel it teaches them as much about making good contact. I gave several away to my nephew and he enjoys training with them as well. Durability cannot be answered. This is my first year using them. I can say after a summer of use they have not shown any wear and if that is an indicator then I would expect them to last for some time. I also use the as a throwing and catching exercise. Works great off a T or hand tossed. I would recommend them to family and friends.

The best quality Plyo balls available!
Don’t waste your money on other brands…. These are the real deal and the ONLY weighted plyo balls that go up to 20oz! Great for velo training and warm ups. Be mindful if using for batting practice… these are 20oz and could damage a modern day composite bat… I use with wood bats and camwood trainers only!

A Must Have for Baseball!
Great product! PowerNet offers weighted balls at different weight options. I purchased the 2.8 14 oz green balls for young 7 yr old son who loves baseball. These balls are great for practicing throwing, batting, and even doing strengthening exercises. The balls are the size of a baseball and can be used for batting practice to strength forearm/wrist strength and hand speed. I tend to put them on a batting tee, soft toss, and pitch. I went with PowerNet becuase they offered different weight options than other manufacturers. Highly recommend this product for all ages. Just remember to get the lightest balls for the younger kids to prevent injury and always follow proper body mechanics when working with kids under 12 yrs old. Balls came with a nice pouch for storage and nicely wrapped. A must have for baseball athletes!

TCB vs PowerNet balls-Softball
Ok, for starters: 1. The TCB 74 balls are a bit bigger than the 2.8" PowerNet balls. As depicted in the attached photo. The 74 TCB is also lighter in weight 14oz vs the PowerNet 2.8"16oz balls. 2, the red vs high vis color; PowerNet 2.8" is red vs the TCB 74 yellow/green is more high vis. Making the later easier to find in dark shadows. 3. The PowerNet 2.8" 16oz balls have a solid feel, none of that something flopping around inside the ball thing going on. That makes the TCB 74 a bit fussy at sitting on hitting T without falling off. PowerNet 2.8" balls, whats to like: 1. A much better price. 2. Durability, after a year use in practice and pre game warm ups. These weighted hitting balls hold up great. 3. The color, small diameter and feedback. Helps 10-U through HS age hitters focus on good bat to ball contact, driving bat sweet spot through the ball, and follow through. Summary: In the event you are one that feels they must spend top dollar on equipment. The TCB 74 weighted balls are for you. However, if you are frugal minded and want to get a great product at an affordable price. That works just as well or maybe better than the high price option. The PowerNet weighted balls are the best ban for a buck. Additionally, the PowerNet balls are available in several sizes.
