Mini 3 Position Double Pole Momentary On-Off-Momentary On Rocker Switch DPDT

Switch is being used to operate a 12V actuator in cross-over wired mode for stowing/deploying a joystick emplacement in a space 'simpit' arrangement (mounted to chair arm). It (barely) fits the interior hole of 8020.net "4080 lite" extrusion, flanked by 5mm LEDs either side (one lights when the switch is thrown one way, the other lights when the switch is thrown the other way), using a custom printed end cap. I did not attempt soldering directly to this switch - I usually try my best not to in case of overheating, I used spade terminals as shown. (Yes, everything got a wrap of insulating tape before final insertion into a metal profile!) Sorry for the blue tape on the one pic which kind of blocks some of the context perhaps..., that was just to be sure I knew which way was "up" when fishing the wires in after connecting and testing. I have an mp4 of the final assembly in action but probably too big to upload to an Amazon review.

Functionality was great, these are easy to wire in or soldered directly depending on your application. Switches fuel durable, and don’t feel like they’re easy to break.

This little kid can take a beating! I love the size of it! Small. Discrete. Used it for a motorized rear sunshade in my car. Because the wiring is a tad bit confusing on DPDT switches I pulled and soldered on it quite a bit and it still worked perfectly. The most important thing to me was the size being small.

Used to control exhaust cut outs, works great.

I plan on ordering a different switch from this seller for my atv winch

Hasn’t lasted very long… I have this switch operating several 12V SPDT type automotive relays running a hydraulic valve, NOT full current to device, but it’s begin to be hit or miss, wobbling rocker around helps but this isn’t ideal. I believe the 6 conductors on the blade terminals are putting enough pressure on them to interfere with making contact consistently. I can’t do much about that as the wires have to be in a loom, taped, protected etc. this may be ok for a stationary application but it doesn’t seem sturdy enough for my purpose.
