Easy Walker Coasters 2 Pack - Durable Tennis Ball Alternative, Storm Gray

I ordered these specifically because the grey plastic covers on the walker will overtime wear down , especially if you take the walker outside and if runs over concrete sidewalks or blacktop, and the aluminum will be damaging your inside hardwood or laminate floors. Rehab had these specific covers on the back legs of every walker. They are more stable because they cover a larger surface area and they don’t scratch or damage the flooring, they glide over the floor.

Easy to install. Not so easy to replace, but have it figured out now. They last a long time. Longer than the tennis balls. They glide easy of tile, carpet and concrete.

I loathe tennis balls. Sure, they're great for tennis. But for a walker, it just looks...homemade. DIY. Lemme just use whatever I find lying around in the garage & use that. Nah. These coasters are legit. They look like they should. Sleek. Professional. Like they were original to the walker. ☆☆☆☆☆ FIVE STAR performance. They slide when they should, they stick when they should. AND...they don't wear out! He's been rockin', or rather rollin' the same set for 2+ years now, no signs of wearing out. These should be the standard, not just the after market improvement product.

I found installing this caster was not easy. The diameter of the walker leg was 1.1 inches. I heated two cups of water to boiling in a glass measuring cup in a microwave, carefully lowered the caster into the water for 30 seconds. When removed it easily slipped on the leg of the walker. The heat either softened the plastic or expanded the opening or both. It has not fallen off and glides very smoothly across the floor. I recommend this product but not the instructions!

The best things ever. Better than tennis balls

I was using tennis balls but I bought these because the tennis balls wear out quickly and the rubber leaves marks. The Walker Coasters install on a walker without much trouble and will help the walker move around. The package says "WON'T SCRATCH FLOORING' but this is NOT true unless you have all tile floors. I have vinyl flooring at my house and these feet DO scratch the flooring. (See photo of kitchen floor.) I've tried my best not to lean on the walker when moving but even very light sliding on the vinyl floor did leave marks everywhere I used the walker. I haven't seen anything visible on tile floors like in the bathroom, but if you have any sort of scratchable floor, consider carefully. I don't know yet but I'm hoping I can eventually buff out the scratches which are all over the house now.

Worked great on my walker. I had a total knee replacement and 2 years later a spinal fusion. They don't fall apart like tennis balls. They fit the walker legs perfectly, just pop them on the bottom for easy installation.

May be okay for tile or other surfaces BUT not happy with drag marks on my beautiful dark hardwood floors.
