Scanpan HaptIQ 8 inch Stainless Steel-Aluminum Nonstick Fry Pan – Compatible ...

Have been searching for years for a non-stick pan (or pans ... ) that don't wear out within a few months, that distribute the heat well (I cook using a gas stove), that are dishwasher safe, and that don't scratch easily. I've only been using this pan for about a month, but I use it every day (sometimes multiple times a day). It is a 7 inch fry/saute pan, and since our household is small (two people), it's the perfect size for eggs for breakfast, including pancakes(!) ... That was a surprise -- I turned to using it after I couldn't get the batter to stop sticking in any other pan ... Also great for quick-frying hamburgers, steaks, etc. And ... for quick saute vegetables. And ... for hashbrowns. Only complaint I had was that this pan did not come with a lid, but I found that the glass lid from one of my now-defunct non-stick pans worked perfectly. Also, it's a heavy pan ... and the heat distribution is excellent. All the other lighter weight pans I've had develop hot spots, where some of the food burns/overcooks. No problem like that with this pan (you should've seen my pancakes!) It's a little too soon to tell regarding long term durability, but I am VERY encouraged. Also, it's supposed to be dishwasher safe, but ... I haven't had to put it in the dishwasher so far (I do wash the lid in the dishwasher). It wipes clean easily; no scrubbing needed, so I just rinse it out after using (I do sometimes have to scrub a little on the outside of the pan because I am a clumsy cook ... have to clean up things that drizzle down the outside of the pan). Will update later if my opinion changes, but so far, this is the best I've had in my relatively long life ...

Love the upgraded no stick surface on the HAPTIQ style pans. I’m slowly upgrading my CX+ pans to this style..

I love to cook. I also very rarely write reviews. This is hands down the best, most impressive cookware item in my entire kitchen. I am so spoiled by this pan that I can’t think of buying any other pan in the future. I have put this pan through rigors I have never tried on previous pans - straight to dishwasher, used with metal utensils, deep fried battered cutlets. It has excelled every time and my recipes come out perfectly. Even basic routine cooking - breakfast scrambled eggs - are a pleasure. I’m always amazed at how little butter I need to use. And there’s not a spot of egg left on the pan. I’m in love with this pan...

A perfect non-stick pan, as long as you know to NEVER USE a non-stick spray on it! Non-stick sprays will eat off the coating of almost all non-stick pans. You CAN use real oils! I just put water in after cooking, and wipe it out to help season the pan, just like cast iron pans. I bought two sizes after getting the first one!

This fry pan is fantastic! It cleans like a breeze, and nothing sticks. Plus, it's made in Denmark, not China! I love it so much that I bought a second one in a different size.

Our old 8 inch scanpan was replaced by a new high end 8 inch scanpan. The new one is far better out of the box than the old one was out of the box. We elected the outside high gloss, which makes cleaning much easier. It is a little heavier than our old one , which is nice because it spreads the heat more uniformly (we have propane gas burners). The handle has a bit more curvature than our old one which makes it easier to handle. Clean up is super easy; I think it could be just rinsed and be clean, but I go over it with a sponge. It was much better than I expected and would definitely buy it again. Oh, I forgot, it can go in the dishwasher, but it cleans so easily there is no need.

Do not waste your money buying any other brand. I have several of these now. First class design, thick strong construction, finest marine grade stainless steel. This model is made in Denmark. AAAAA
