A gift from Veronica Vaughn!
"Whoa, this is like the coolest little knife ever! First of all, it’s small but super sharp—just like my brain after that third grade spelling bee (nailed it!). The Smith & Wesson Benji is perfect for when you need to open boxes or cut up stuff and look like a total badass while doing it. It's got a 1.75-inch blade, which is the perfect size to carry around on your keychain. And trust me, I’d know, I’ve got a lot of keys to my... *cough* 'many' properties. It’s a folding knife, so it won’t poke a hole in your pants like that time I put scissors in my pocket... don’t ask. The high-carbon stainless steel feels real solid, like something my dad would be proud of if I actually ever showed him. The modified Tanto blade makes you feel like a samurai or some secret agent every time you use it. Plus, it looks super cool, which, let’s be honest, is 90% of why I bought it.If you’re looking for something that’s small, sharp, and just plain awesome, get this knife. You'll be the coolest kid in the school... or, you know, in life. Stay sharp, friends!"

Neat little knife, great price
Love this little thing. Ive been wanting a little stubby tanto blade like this, the front edge is great for scraping things like sticker residue. The bottom point is great for opening packages. At 16 bucks, I couldnt ask for more.Positives:-Price-very sturdy. no movement when locked-very grippy scale- its simply what I was looking forNegatives.- a bit of resistance while opening, doesn't snap open easily. Hopefully it breaks in.- Pocket clip is very stiff and strong. Takes a lot of effort to clip into pocket.- Bottle opener is unnecessary, Id prefer it be more compact and have no hook sticking out my pocket. I might grind that off...Overall Im happy.-

Cute, could be a bit thinner. Not entirely useless though.
I got this knife wanting a tiny pocketknife for carry in the change-pocket of my jeans.I love the design, but theres only one flaw.It is quite thick! Its very mini on the blade length and the pocket-size, but its very head for its size too, and it bulges in the change-pocket. The clip is also VERY strong, which usually is a good thing, but for my purpose it makes it hard to clip into that pocket. It has a bottle opener, useful if you are in desperate need but I wouldnt necessarily use it as my only bottle opener.I purchased this for use at work, mostly as a box cutter, but because the blade is so thick it actually does quite a poor job going through boxes, even though it is very sharp (I tried it before sharpening and after). That being said, This is not a useless knife, I can see applications where this knife would be useful. It is most definitely SOLID, and the sharp turns of the edges can cut pretty nicely on things other than through boxes.NOTE When I say "cutting boxes" I mean breaking them down at work, and sometimes having to cut pieces off to repurpose boxes.I just personally wish It was a tad thinner so that it did go through boxes without tearing them from the thickness of the blade. For my purposes it missed the mark.Would probably be a better mini camping knife.

Love this little guy!
Very short sharp blade, and I love it! I mostly use it for opening boxes, but I have used it when out in the garden harvesting limes, veggies, etc. I can stick the blade into a lime and work it around to cut it cleanly in half, very easy to use if a bit small in large hands. I actually bought two of these, on one of them the bearing is much smoother and flicks out really easily, the other seems to have a bit more resistance. Both have worked really well for me, could easily fit them on a keychain and the blade stays secured. A bit heavy to maybe wear around the neck, but also easily fits in your pocket. You can feel the quality, good weight for its size, and comes nice and sharp!

Very sturdy, great replacement for my box cutter. Super durable. Nice large clip that doesn't snag.

Smith & Wesson Benji 2.5in High Carbon S.S. Folding Keychain Knife
I used to carry a small Swiss Army Knife and found the blade use mostly-disappointing for small ropes. I ran across the Smith & Wesson Benji and figured I would give it a try. The blade configuration takes a little getting used to, but it works for what I need. The obtuse point on the blade is very useful for opening packages. It is fairly heavy for it's small-sized blade, but you do get the belt-clip and bottle opener. Overall, I've found it very durable and have not had to sharpen it yet. It looks pretty cool with the red accent and I attached a few keys to it. The belt clip is removable if you don't use it with just a couple small Allen-head screws. It's a pretty good choice for a small knife with a beefy little blade.

Good quality little knife.
tiny tanto blade. nicely made, high quality, heavy. wasn't expecting a lot for the price, but this little knife exceeded my expectations. small enough to fit almost anywhere, small pockets, belt, bug out bag, wherever you need a small knife for emergencies.

Benji the Backup Blade
It is a key chain knife. Works as a backup blade, but not as primary EDC knife. Who doesn’t love a cute fidgety toy knife? I bought because I like small pocket gadgets. Could work as part of a budget EDC carry like the one pictured. I have several S&W knives, but unfortunately they don’t put the same quality control and level of detail in their knives as they do their guns. This blade has the right specs, but the action is not good, even after applying some lube. The clip works as a money clip but is useless as a pocket clip. The Tanto blade looks cool but is impractical for most tasks. It is just a fancy box cutter. It has a two finger grip, 3 if you put your index on the small finger choil. The lock up is decent, but does have a little play. It is a fun statement piece to pull out and show off, but size and quality matter.
