cool mic to add to the studio line up
its multi settings add to a great addition to the studio mics i own. vocals have came out crystal clear in all the recordings. i have yet to try the other two setting for instruments but im sure they will not be disappointing.

INCREDIBLE MIC FOR THE PRICE
I've heard a few mics as well as professional studio mic (many over 5 grand). Now this mic is not up to par with mic's that cost a few grand but it is worth well more than a hundred. This mic is in the class of 500$ to 1000$ mics. Samson isn't as popular as MXL or AKG and b/c they are priced low some people may think they are not quality. Thats far from the truth. Amazon doesn't have alot of reviews on them but google this mic and see if you can find a bad review. You won't. My first foray into samson mics was the C01U. DO NOT GET THE C01U FOR MUSIC. ITS ONLY FOR PODCAST. DOES NOT WORK WELL FOR MUSIC. For a podcast mic it did a good job but its not a good mic for music. So I bought the C03. (I would recommend using an audio interface with the C03 rather than the C03U-usb version). When you get this mic you will need to apply phantom power. Then listen to the crisp clean sound. I'm really impressed with this mic. And you will be too.

Pretty decent, for the price
For being an entry level condenser mic, its value/cost ratio is pretty satisfactory.It may shine a bit more when recording instruments. Recording vocals with it hasn't been that great.All in all, decent. A bit too noisy, but decent.

O Samson C03 é uma ótima compra. Qualidade e preço juntos. Sensacional as opções de padrão polar (figura 8, cardióide e omnidirecional). Comprei principalmente para gravação direta em video do tipo debate. Som claro e limpo.O prazo de entrega da Amazon também foi ótimo, mesmo considerando que o produto é de estoque da Amercian Musical.

Good for the price
A good entry-level, lower-end condenser (back-electret) microphone. Sounds pretty good, though with a bit of self-noise indicative of back-electrets. Very useful multi-pattern design makes it a nice, inexpensive entry into using different mic types.I've used 2 for drum overheads and found them to be not-too-bad. I would recommend with the caveat that these are not high-end mics. You get what you pay for, but in this case it's a good bargain.
