Buying more 6 years later as I'm almost out. I've had some taped watercolor projects years later and it peeled off great. If you use low quality paper it'll tear. You get minor bleed on occasion, but not bad. It's rare. I was going to try to find a new tape, but really don't want to take a chance on the unknown either. Haven't had residue or other issues.

Good product much easier to remove than the blue one

FrogTape is my go-to for not only painting, but for labeling stuff in my kitchen. Fist for painting, this is a very high quality tape for trim and edges. This is a premium painters tape, I assume to be compared with the Scotch brand blue painter's tape. They're pretty similar in adhesive ability and both are great for sharp edges. I do think FrogTape works a little better, in my opinion. Sometimes this is needed and other times, just a lower end painter's tape is OK. But when you need super sharp edges, I think the way to go is FrogTape. I also use this to label random things in the kitchen. Frozen foods in ziplock bags, random items in jars, etc. This sticks well and black magic marker looks great agains the green color.

We are painting the entire interior of our newly remodeled house. The tile in the bathrooms was installed before we could paint, so we had to mask the tile and the grout to paint the ceiling and walls. We used this green 1" Frog Tape, then used blue tape, or cheap 2020 masking tape on top (offset since that edge wasn't so critical) with a 3M Masker and plastic to drape the rest of the tile. (The masker is an awesome tool, FYI). One bathroom is on the third floor where we have a vaulted ceiling. The tile goes to the ceiling and the ceiling comes down at a sharp angle to a 4' wall. It was difficult to get the Frog Tape up there in that narrow peak, but I pressed it down with a painting tool and had no choice but to hope for the best stuffing the tip of the paint brush into the angle to paint the ceiling. Everywhere we used it, the Frog Tape did a perfect job of keeping paint from bleeding underneath, even though we painted over the edges. The grout in all three bathrooms was perfectly clean when we removed the tape. The tape doesn't splinter when removing it either. I highly recommend this tape and will use it again with confidence. Just make sure to press it down well (I did, and I assume it is necessary). One more thing: the box says to keep it stored in the box to avoid its drying out. I don't know how long the shelf life is but new it comes in a plastic shrink-wrapped box.

FrogTape is hands down the best painter’s tape I’ve used. It really lives up to its reputation! I used it for a couple of home projects, and the lines came out so clean and crisp. The tape sticks well to walls and doesn’t peel off paint when removed, which I’ve had issues with in the past with other brands. The best part is the PaintBlock technology, which helps prevent paint from bleeding under the tape, even with a little bit of moisture. It’s a little pricier than regular painter’s tape, but it’s definitely worth the investment for the professional finish it delivers. Overall, if you want clean, sharp lines on your next painting project, I highly recommend FrogTape!

Haven't actually used it for painting, but if you want to label things in your kitchen and to stay even if it gets wet or damp, it's amazing. Just ensure that you crimp a little tab on the end to make removal easy. Takes a Sharpie well and I have it constantly on a dispenser on my counter

Great product did exactly as advertised . Masked up great and no bleed of paint into unwanted areas.

It doesn't get ANY better than frogs tape. I used to paint for a little side hustle and now I still do alot of painting such as refinishing furniture etc, This is the ONLY tape I will ever trust. Yes it's a bit pricier but it's saved me hundreds if not thousands of dollars in extra time and work for bleeds or touch up etc. It's never ever removed any of my paint while I peel it off, even if I left it on a little too long, which I DO NOT suggest doing!
