I bought this to attach a cable to a hand safe, installed with 3” tempered steel screws. Looks good and installed easy. One note the screw cover will not latch in place unless screws are seated all the way in.

These are just what you need if you already have a cable to secure your computer or laptop. The supplied adhesive pads are surprisingly strong if you wipe down the desk with isopropyl alcohol before applying. I also used the supplied screws which seem to hold to the sheet metal desk ok although they are not really self-tapping screws.

If you need to secure a small safe to prevent theft or unauthorized removal, these are great and inexpensive options. I used longer screws to secure to studs. But they look good and don’t look out of place. Cables fit as needed for the securement you need.

We used it for my mother in law to secure the cordless phone to it's base. She was constantly misplacing it. Worked beautifully.

The lock is so small that neither of the ends of the cable lock can pass through it. I had to exert a lot of force on one end to make it pass. The adhesive is very good and it looks fine on a desk. My recommendation for future buyers would be to buy a larger anchor.

Price was absurdly inflated for such a small inexpensive product. You could buy the same thing on AliB for a fraction of the cost.
