Simple. Perfect. Easy.
Really love this holder. It's very lightweight and has rubber feet at the bottom so it doesn't slide around your desk. Has an adjustable clip and a clear slider for marking your spot. Highly recommended. Much better than attaching clips and adhesives to your monitor.

Holds Lots of Paper, Sturdy, Lip, Angled.
The document easel is great. Just what I wanted. Holds lots of paper. Lip at bottom keeps papers from sliding down and it's about an inch, so plenty of space.Stays upright, doesn't collapse unless I make it. It's made well.Only "Con" is the Clasp paper holder. It doesn't stay up, just slides down. If you are holding papers it stays put. Otherwise it slides down.I only have about 30 sheets in the holder, most not clipped. Since it's at an angle, the paper stays put. It's a great holder, just what I needed.

Good product but can be better
I purchased this document holder to guide me when following craft patterns and instructions. There are a few different type of document holders out there. The reason I chose this one was because the whole guiding slider is clear. I wanted to be able to see through a few lines or even the whole paragraphs while I’m working on my project.Pros:- It holds the document tightly enough without leaving a mark on the paper.- The sliding guide can be mounted on either the left or right side of the clipboard.- The sliding guide stays firmly to its position.- The leg in the back can be folded in and the document holder lays flat when not in use.Cons:1. The top clip slider does not hold in position well. It tends to slide up and down especially when only a few sheets of papers are clipped to it.2. The leg in the back does not stay folded in.3. The standing angle position is not adjustable. However, I did not let these minor issues from having to go through the returning process. I do like this document holder. So, I improved 2 out of 3 issues. Here's what I did. Hopefully, these may help you as well:1. To keep the clip unit from sliding, I first, slided upward to expose the back area where it slides up and down. Then, with a glue gun, I spreaded a very thin layer of adhesive on the back of the board, where the clip slided up and down (see the image). After the glue had dried (less than a minute), I slided the clip unit back down.2. To keep the leg in the back folded in, I used Velcro with adhesive back. I cut a few small pieces of Velcro and attached one side to the bottom edge of the leg, and the other side of the Velcro to the board at about the same positions as the other Velcro pieces on the leg (see attched image). With these fixes, this document holder has been working well and met my needs for it.

Good enough and good enough value
Pros:* lightweight* inexpensive* sturdy enough to hold books and tablet computers* completely non-metallic* identical function to a metal stand with paper clip and line guide* 3M brandCons:* feels flimsy out of the box* therefore, still seems pricey, even though it does the jobI bought it for some extremely destructive kids to hold their school tablets and they have done the job well and survived over 1 month of heavy use! Recommended.

Excellent Document Stand w/Easle Base
Excellent document stand placed next to computer screen. The expandable EASLE makes this product very stable on the desk.

Sturdy build
I bought this to hold up my 500+ page spiral-bound typing class textbook (pictured) so it would be closer to my computer screen and not lying flat on my desk. It does the job well. It holds the weight of this big book with no trouble. I have not tried it with a non-spiral-bound (i.e. non-fold-in-half-able) textbook because my desk is not wide enough to accommodate both that and my computer, but I'm sure it would work just as well. There are rubber feet on the bottom to keep it from sliding around on the desk. The kickstand on the back folds flat like the back of a picture frame. If you were using a much smaller collection of papers, you might get some use out of the clear plastic bar that slides up and down to hold your papers in place. The silver clip at the top also slides up and down to accommodate different paper lengths. As I said, I use it to hold a textbook while I type. You could also use it to hold up a recipe book while you are cooking, a tablet to read, watch a movie, etc., or anything else you might need to stand up.

It's lightweight, and doesn't slide around, but it's also stiff and fiddly.
This stand is the second I've tried. It's better than the first. It's solid, lightweight plastic, relatively firm, and the rubber feet hod it stable without sliding. This may be enough for some folks, but it has one glaring flaw (for me).Take a close look at the two photos. You'll notice that there is a "lip" of plastic at each end of the base. These lips prevent papers from resting on the bottom shelf, so that there will always be a few sheets that stick up higher than the rest. This also affects the sliding bar used to mark the place you're currently accessing... It's fiddly. You have to keep taking the sheets out, then carefully sliding them over those lips. Otherwise it's not the worst of the bunch, but for the price it should be much better.Another issue is that the reader bar is very stiff, hard to slide down the page, and requires two hands, which also causes the sheets to slip around so you're forever restacking them. Could be better, but not the worst.
