right tool for the job
I used this tool to replace a drive-in style grease zerk on a farm tractor that was in an awkward tight spot. It worked great and made the job very easy - three firm taps of a hammer and it was good to go. I probably could have devised something that would've worked from small sockets and an extension but this tool is very solid and made precisely for the job and I'm happy to have it in my tool box. Just my own opinions and experience here, yours may differ.

Well, surely if you're smarter than me you can make something or find something that does the same thing. I went crazy trying to rig from nuts & bolts, pipe, etc. This fits the zerk exactly so they bang in easily.

Snowblower Zerk fitting easily reinstalled
This tool holds drive in Zerk and Grease fittings easily in place in tight spaces where a long nose pliers or vice grips is impractical. My Ariens Snowblower threw its original Zerk fitting on the snow auger. The fitting is very close to the auger blade. I had tried to get this fitting reset for almost an hour without success but with this tool I completed the task in about 20 seconds and three hits from my rubber mallet. Worth every penny!!!
