I'm sure Google has something, I would ask for instructions for using dowsing rods. I just put a slight bend down on the rod and let it rest at the middle joint of my first finger and lightly hold the handle with my thumb and walk slowly. I used them and found a underground spring. I used flags and marked the spots where it strongly crossed and it is a 1/4 mile in a line. I also take a couple steps and stop recenter the rods and stand a minute and if the water is there they will cross, the stronger the cross they will actually go to your arms, the closer the water is.
