Nordic Ware Swedish Rosettes & Timbale Set

Love this utensil. Bringing back some polish family recipes.

When I was a child my favorite Christmas cookie that my mother made was Rosettes! My older sister and I would stay in the kitchen, hovering, fir the next batch to be completed and sifted with powdered sugar! Oh the light, crispy, slightly sweet cookies were absolutely wonderful, and not heavy like many cookies are. It does take some practice to get the perfectly cooked cookies made, but man did this take me back to a fun part of my childhood! Excellent quality, easy to use and clean up. I definitely recommend picking up a set of these cookie irons, they are great!

I have an old set just like this one I ordered. My daughter found this but wanted my set so instead of sharing, I gifted her one she can call her very own. She immediately used it and was so very happy. She even started showing it off. The sizes of each iron is comparable to my old set. It’s super easy to clean and for all the irons she got in the set was worth the price I paid. Its quality made and easy to use if you’ve used one before. If you don’t, you could till find easy to use instructions.

I bought these for my sister for Christmas but had it shipped to her now ( October) so that she could practice making and perfecting them for Christmas Eve. Her mother in law use to make Ukrainian Khrustyky, which is basically a fried dough cookie. They are very time consuming to make. When I saw this kit from Nordic Ware and watched the video , it reminded me of the khrustyky we grew up with. She sent me a photo when she got it and it’s packaged beautifully for great functionality . What a great concept and lovely gift giving packaging and so that it can be nicely stored away together after use. The product is very sturdy and looks like it will last . It was a bit pricey, but I was lucky to catch it on sale. I don’t mind paying up for this brand because I have other Nordic Ware products and they are all fantastic and I know this brand means quality. I also just bought these corn shaped corn muffin pan for my niece in law for Thanksgiving.

This set made beautiful rosettes - which keep for a long time in cookie tins!

Only tried out 2 of the mold to make rosettes during our family Christmas bake. There was a bit of a learning curve but once we dialed it in the rosettes turned out perfect. #1 tip - iron has to be dipped into the oil and gotten very hot before dipping into the batter.

bought this item to maximize my time. for me it was more of a struggle to use this double iron than my single iron and after 1 use i returned. it is a good item, and lighter in weight than my single iron, however i had difficulty getting batter on each iron as 1 iron seemed to cool quicker and my finding the right batter pan one that was wide enough to accommodate both irons at the same time that could hold the amount of batter i needed proved difficult in my house ... if you can overcome these obstacles, the iron itself is a great item, it just didn't work easily the way i needed it to

Me encantaron, llegó a tiempo; fácil de usar, lo único es que no indica que al usar, debe estar muy caliente para usarse, sino, no se adhiere la masa, una vez que me di cuenta, fue muy fácil.
