Yum yum, addictive! I really like it!
It was my turn to host the annual Mexican/Spanish Fiesta at my home. I was looking to do something unique. I googled Spanish drinks looking for a good sangria recipe & came across this. Then, I found it bottled on Amazon & thought I'd give it a try. I liked the reviews of the experienced drinkers. I agree with those who really likes it. It is unique, delicious & was a hit with my Sisters; though, I think that I liked it the most. It has a slight allspice flavor. It's actually addictive, I think. However, price per bottle will keep it a special treat for me. But I think I'll have to have more than once a year. But it definitely has a place in our annual fiesta!

Great taste
Made with sugar cane instead of processed sugar. The first sip itโs a little heavy but I got used to it real fast. Better than juices made with concentrated sugar. Glad I bought this and I would recommend.

Contains Blue 1, Blue 2 & Red 40โฆ.dyes made from coal tar/oil, textile dye and petroleum.
Besides the awful taste I really have a problem with artificial dyes that are harmful to my health and totally unnecessary.

Great flavor.
If youre going to buy this product don't buy it from Amazon. Super over priced.

It tastes good when its cold
I had a craving for Chicha morada for a long time, as I didnt have it for a while as my dad was the one always brewing it, when I saw it on Amazon I bought it, and it was pretty good, actually when its really cold it tastes like a home brew. Great product

Misleading Ingredients, But Still Tasty
I recently purchased the Chicha Morada Limena, intrigued by its traditional Peruvian flavors and the enticing ingredients listed on Amazon. However, upon receiving the product, I noticed a significant discrepancy in the ingredient list. The actual ingredients on the package are: "FILTERED WATER, SUGAR CANE, PURPLE MAIZE EXTRACT, CITRIC ACID, NATURAL AND ARTIFICIAL FLAVORS, MALIC ACID, SODIUM CITRATE, SODIUM BENZOATE, XANTHAN GUM, RED 40, BLUE 1, BLUE 2." This is quite different from the Amazon listing which claims: "FILTERED WATER, SUGAR CANE, PURPLE MAIZE EXTRACT, PINEAPPLE, LEMON, CINNAMON AND CLOVES." Despite the difference in ingredients, I found the drink quite enjoyable. The flavor profile is pleasant, and surprisingly, I could still discern hints of cloves and cinnamon, which added a nice touch to the overall taste. The drink has a good balance of sweetness and a subtle tartness, making it refreshing and easy to drink.

... -- but the juice itself was contained and appeared fine.
Two of the three bottles were dusty and smashed -- but the juice itself was contained and appeared fine.

delicious drink
Delicious! Perfect drink for a Peruvian dinner. It's sweet, and it tastes almost like a cross between apple and grape juice, though it's slightly (only slightly) thicker than both, like homemade lemonade (but no pulp whatsoever).
