Somebody made off with my rubber mallet so I had to replace. Found this one Made in USA and its quality compared to my old one is really noticeable. It is heavier and the rubber seems tougher. I am a Made in the USA shopper and try to buy as little from China as feasibly possible. More expensive but the quality is always superior.

Affordable, Solid, and Does the Trick!
There's only so much one can say about a simple mallet. It got the job done for putting some cabinet drawers together and will soon aid in tiling as well. It's a solid mallet, doesn't leave marks on the surface, and simply works. Made in USA.

So much better than Harbor Freight
After breaking two Harbor Freight rubber mallets during vinyl flooring and retaining wall projects (rubber head split in half both times) I decided to bite the bullet and buy a nice rubber mallet. I'm not disappointed at all, just wish it wasn't so expensive...its just a piece of rubber and stick of wood. Anyway, you can definitely tell a quality difference in the rubber and I am confident this one will last a few more projects than those cheapos.

If you want it to last, this is the deadblow you need.
I'm a Glazier by trade and everyone i work with says that the dead blow by Estwing is incredible and last forever, i've seen one over a decade old and looks almost in perfect condition. Incredibly reliable and durable.

Solid piece American made.
First things first. No complaints while swinging that mallet.12oz. with a large hitting area and a smooth hickory handle.The Deadhead doesn't bounce at all. I've been aligning OSB sheets for a while now and that mallet is a true blessing.I would buy it again and again.
