Q: Any one who has bought it can you answer any downside to this kettle?

Downsides of this kettle: - The beep when the water is ready is very low, I almost never hear it unless I'm really paying attention. - The water usually ends up 5-10 degrees higher than the specified temp - It forgets the temp you set as soon as you lift the kettle from the base, you have to select the temp to heat up to each time even if you repeated wan to use the same temp. - the spout isn't well designed, the water spills on pouring and I have to be very careful and pour slowly. This is not the case with other kettles. - the min water req is 0.5l and max is 1.5l, this feels a little constrained. - the buttons to press have no haptic feedback, just the sound - my kettle stopped working just over a month after getting it - there are only 4 temp modes, I wish there was one at 155 degrees, and one at 190 or 195 instead of 200. - the temp almost boils to 212 even when I select 200 I would suggest getting the similar kettle by Krups as it resolves each one of the above problems, including the water pouring nicely. Krups is also a brand that has been around a much longer time.

I have bad arthritis in my hands and found the kettle easy to lift from the base with no problem.
