Reliable and Handy!
This mini Maglite is compact, sturdy, and bright enough for everyday use. Perfect for keeping in a drawer, glove box, or emergency kit. The build quality is solid and it feels durable. Great little flashlight!

Maglite is the only flashlight brand I buy
I love this travel sized flashlight! It's the perfect size to keep in your glove box, purse, or take it camping. Cell phone flash lights aren't always appropriate. The battery compartment also has a spare light bulb nested in the cap! The flashlight itself is made from durable metal, much better than cheap plastic. The light beam is also adjustable from a directed beam to a more diffuse light that illuminates a larger area. You can also remove the cover over the bulb, and the flashlight works like a flameless candle, lighting up a whole room, car interior, or tent. Maglites last decades, they are a reliable made in the USA brand, still made in the USA. Great purchase! Definitely recommend having one on hand for emergencies!

Great little flashlight, bought several of them for vehicles and in the house and shop.
This is a great flashlight. I have other flashlights, that are LED, but they bother the eyes and are not healthy. These give off a true light, not the blue light of an LED. We have animals and use this light to check on them at night. Less damaging to their sensitive eyes at night. You can focus the beam from more of a flood to a small spot light. Unscrew the lens piece and it acts as a base to stand the light up and you have a nice little 'candle' light. For the money, they're great. Glad to see Maglite is still making other and LED flashlights.

Classic minimaglite never goes out of style.
The classic incandescent durable flashlight. Maybe not quite as bright as the new generation LEDs, but the batteries will last longer. Newer designs are not necessarily better. The flashlight is bright enough and works fine. I prefer this older kind to the new kind.

Incredible flashlights. Great for everyone. And a must have in a photographer's camera bag.
I have a few silly passions and the maglite line of flashlights is one of them. Though I like them all, the mini maglite is my all time favorite and in my possession right now are probably five of them in assorted colors. Brilliant feats of engineering design don't come along all that often but this light would be one of them.....This functions as a standard flashlight that can cast a wider or narrower beam depending on how you turn the front piece, and the beam is a bright soft light. In a blackout, you can fully unscrew the front piece and invert it on the bottom of the flashlight thereby creating a hands free stand and the flashlight functions a bit like a candle (without the risk of catching surroundings on fire). The back end of the flashlight stores a spare bulb (such a smart touch).Long before there was an amazon or amazon reviews, I was waxing poetic about these flashlights and they are as well made today as they were then. Solid aluminum construction and good rubber seals all around. For a photographer I think this is a must have item. I keep one in my camera bag at all times. If I am hunting around in the dark they help me find my way. If I want to shoot a "painting with light" image they are often my go to light both because they are bright enough and soft enough to help create a pleasing night image with just a hint of light. With proper care these flashlights will last years. Replacement bulbs are readily available. The thing that causes me to ultimately toss one of these away is when the glass cover over the bulb gets too hazy from wear to be useful. But this takes a long long long time.BOTTOM LINE: I can't sing the praises of these maglites highly enough. Great for everyone, but photographers should always have one on hand.

Perfect for Emergency Kits
We live in an area where a Mandatory Evacuation is just a standard summer activity. These little flashlight sets are PERFECT for your Emergency Kit. They are small, have the battery right there, and easy to just toss next to your bed (Evacuations always seem to happen at night when it is dark out) or in your car, office desk, go bag, etc. For the price you can buy several and have some "ready to go" with the battery inside and then just toss the pack as is (so you know the battery will be ready to go when needed) into your bag. My only advice would be to cut the plastic cuz you know those things are hard to claw into at the best of times. The brand of course is well known. The flashlight seems sturdy enough to handle being dropped several times as you mad dash through your emergency kit for the booze. I appreciate that this flashlight is just that: a flashlight. I personally hate the gimmicky ones with the "SOS" flash that only ties to give you a seizure and is literally never needed. I can't tell you how many times I've been in need of a flashlight and some "helpful" person comes over proudly displaying their little flashlight "And look it does this" *blinds me with annoying strobe* like that's gonna help me find the booze to keep me from screaming and everyone.Worth every penny. Good brand of flashlight.
