It's terrible and you'll probably like it.
I'm mostly a keyboard player with a penchant for analog synths and good emulations. I have a fair mix of both. I really wanted a Moog Moogerfooger Delay, but they are stupid expensive and very hard to get since their precious Panasonic BBD chips are no longer made. I really wanted an Eventide or Strymon delay because they are amazing and seem to be the choice of the pros. At the very least, I was thinking of picking up an MXR Carbon Copy Analog Delay, light on features, but a long time standard. This thing is literally the junkiest sounding excuse for a delay pedal I have ever heard. The first echoes start at low-fi and it rapidly degrades from there in precision, timing, fidelity and dynamics. It’s not just analog, it’s a kind of bad analog…and I’m finding it to be AMAZINGLY MUSICAL!My pride and joy is a Moog Sub 37. It a stable, bright and crisp modern analog synth. When you slam the blend up to 100% (any less and there’s really no point), set “Repeat” to 1:00 position and time to 11:00. You don’t get spacey vintage echoes but rather a crackling mockery of your input. It’s like a parrot that runs on 9 volt batteries repeating yours swear words back to you.Just plugging something in to the AD8 starts to sap some life out of the tone but when those horrible electronics start to belch out copies of your sound, it’s a lot like taking a Monet and making an 80’s vintage Xerox copy, and then copying that copy. While the first copy merely ruined the work, the 5th copy was unrecognizable. The dirty secret of most sound engineers these days is to what lengths they will go add low-fi elements to their mixes. Tape saturation, bit crushers artificial hiss; anything to "grunge up" a mix or an instrument to make the pristine digital domain feel the least bit "lived-in". This POS will take all the hassle out of dirtying up your mix. This really is not a very good delay, but I’m finding it a very interesting musical experience. It’s brilliant at creating repeats that take cold arpeggiator or drum machine output and adding a subtle but tangible soul both in tone and timing. Playing with the knobs while pushing stuff into it is half the fun. Mine is on my desk, not the floor. It’s 5 star junk and I’m delighted with it. If it were to break, I would buy another. I however, still want my Strymon. While I wish it were better, it’s in the “so ugly, it’s cute” category. While it will most certainly never be a “classic”, your stuff will sound unique through it.

Mostly Great
This is a great sounding pedal. It delays in a very analog sounding way where it reduces the high frequencies with each repeat. I use this stacked with a Line 6 DL4 for some really crazy sounds. My only issue with the pedal is that the feedback knob can only be turned up to about 12:00 before it goes into self-oscillation. On the other hand, it oscillates in a very unique way and you can get some crazy sounds out of it. It seems to be very well built and the LED is nice and bright. I power it with a one-spot adapter and have no noise issues at all with it. I am considering buying more Biyang pedals based on my experience with this one.

cheap construction
Its a cool pedal, and has nice effect. Cheap construction. Outside is sturdy but the input/output lacks are cheap plastic, and I have had to fish them out a few times. they push right in after attempting to plug into the pedal.

Great Price Point. Real Value
I was a bit skeptical at first of the reviews but I broke down and purchased it. So far I am very happy with it. It looks great, feels sturdy, and performs like you would expect. Sounds analog and I like that. I am using it with my 70's Sho Bud pedal steel and It doesn't alter the tone to much. One area that seemed a bit weak was in the 9V battery plug and wires. Easily replaced if needed.I would recommend it if you have the time to have it shipped on a slow boat from China.

Not bad if it didn't hum and hiss.
Good looking unit. I am sure that a non-defective unit would sound great. I had to send mine back. It hummed and hissed when I tried to use it.

The Real Deal
For less than half the price of competitors, with true bypass, forgetaboutit. I have owned other delays as well as a space echo and this is a quality product. I would recommend it to anyone in the market for a great analog delay. It is hi-fi enough to sound good, but low-fi enough not to sound ice picky like digis, and the range of time control is from almost nothing to over 1.5s. It will do oscillation for days, you can even incorporate the switch into the oscillation for some unique effects. A+. Also bought Their Tremolo, I own classic Fender amps and the trem on that pedal is also awesome. If people can get past the name, I think Biyang would be a giant player in effects.

Decent for the money but reliable
Has been gigging and working great. Takes some tweaking to get that perfect Slapback sound and fades off at higher volumes.
