A pure and brilliant sound — the TRE35 large single row chimes have a chromatic-like tuning enveloped in ethereal, shimmering tone that blends beautifully in all musical settings, and this distinctive sound is what made TreeWorks famous.
Exceptional materials — we use locally sourced 3/8" aluminum/titanium alloy bars that are heat treated for 8 hours to create a crystal clear tone, then they are polished to shine and hand-tied to a Tennessee hardwood mantle in hand-rubbed oil finish.
Hand-crafted for superior durability — each chime is individually tied to the wood mantle by hand with strong micro-braided cord (CordLoc) which can hold up to 50 pounds (think miniature rappelling rope) — no plastic ties or stes are used on our chimes.
Versatile — the adaptable, strong chimes may be used on any common instrument, microphone or music stand — made of super rigid, laser-cut steel to be a dependable and rugged piece of hardware for years to come.
Soft-sided chimes bag — this kit comes with a carrying bag that effectively shields your chimes from scratches and bumps while traveling with its 1/2" foam padding — equipped with a Velcro seal and strong carrying grip.

At TreeWorks Chimes, we specialize in crafting exceptional, high-quality American made percussion instruments from our small shop in Nashville, Tennessee using locally sourced materials. Our specialty started with handcrafting chimes (sometimes called bar chimes, wind chimes or chime trees). These instruments are incredibly well-made and produce lush, beautiful waves of tone with a sweep of your hand. This complete set comes with everything you need to play chimes. The chimes themselves are our most popular model, the single row Classic Chime model TRE35. The metal 3/8” diameter chime bars are made of TreeWorks' exclusive Aluminum/Titanium alloy, comprised of 11 different metals melted together. They are heat treated for 8 hours to create a crystal clear tone, then the bars are polished to a brilliant finish. The unique chromatic-like tuning has been described as ethereal and shimmering—great for any music or sound immersion setting. The mantle, TreeWorks' name for the wooden frame, is crafted from solid Tennessee hardwood. The deep color is brought out with a hand-rubbed oil finish that is high-end, yet understated. Each chime bar is individually hand-tied to the mantle. One-bar-at-a-time. NO PLASTIC TIES and NO STES are used. The braided CordLoc(TM) we use can hold up to 50 pounds (think miniature rappelling rope). To say TreeWorks chimes are durable is an understatement. The included rugged steel chime holder/ing bracket allows you to position the chime anywhere you have a tubular stand (examples: cymbal stand, mic stand, music stand). The free chime bag with ½” padding protects the chime during travel and makes it easy to grab and go with its strong carrying grip.
