It is SOOOO good!
The media could not be loaded. First, I'm not a V-logger or blogger. I don't do Podcasts or self-centric Youtube videos. But, I DO videos about drones and quadcopters. Some of which, I narrate. I've always wanted to have a better audio experience for my viewers. Now, I have it. This Eivotor professional microphone is exactly what it says in the name, PROFESSIONAL. The quality of the sound recorded (to my ears) couldn't be better if it was done in an actual studio. Part by part... The mic itself is so well made, I couldn't think of a single criticism. It's just, simply stated, a professional quality mic. The stand is super sturdy, solid and easy. The cage is the perfect example of how to isolate 'telegraphed' noise from your desk or table, preventing unwanted noise in your recording. The mic has an open cell foam wind screen, like any pro mic would have. The 'pop' screen is great for those of us that over enunciate our consonants. I don't do that! (roll eyes) The connections are standard, the three prong mic connection can be swapped out for any length you happen to have around. The other end is a standard 3.5mm 4 c jack (designed for splitting the signal between your recording device and headphones). But, it can be used without the splitter pigtail, in case you don't need the feedback. You can tell from my brief video, the recorded sound is very good. Great purchase, five stars.

Small mike , big sound
The sound quality of this microphone is amazing. My son uses it for his gaming pc and he loves it. It's got a very good voice output even though it's smaller than his last one. It's easy to put together and very durable. He has accidentally dropped it off his desk a couple times and it still works perfectly. A must have accesory for any pc gamer. A great value for the money I paid.

A startlingly well-made microphone for the price
There are both pros and cons to this. I'll start out with the pros.— It is extremely well made, with a well-finished metal body instead of the usual molded plastic.— Audio quality is good, with clear recording and no noticeable distortion. Output signal strength is not spectacular, but it is usable.— The cord has a reasonably generous length and a standard three-pin DIN microphone connector. It is terminated in a 3.5mm stereo plug that will also WORK in the 3.5mm MONO microphone jack typical of most PC sound cards. (That said, I'm also going to try it on line-in.)— The rubber-nest suspension system for the microphone is clever, and isolates the mic from most transmitted vibration.— The switch is simple, positive, standard, and immune to sticking issues. On the other hand, there are drawbacks:— Sensitivity is an issue. The mic comes with an additional second windscreen on an arm, but you probably won't be able to use it because it puts you too far from the microphone to get decent input.— The tripod that's included is not bad for a desktop tripod, but is very short, and it's not immediately obvious whether the clever rubber-suspended microphone mount will fit on a taller tripod or flex arm.— The tripod is very light and a little precariously balanced with the microphone in place where you can reach the switch, and it takes very little to tip it over backwards. Go ahead, ask me how I know.Overall, a very good, inexpensive microphone, with a simple-yet-clever vibration-isolating mount, but you'll probably want to use it with a better tripod or a gooseneck arm. But then, EIVOTOR is selling you the microphone, not the tripod. You shouldn't be expecting a fancy tripod here. Getting a tripod included at all is a freebie above and beyond the great microphone.Technical Thug verdict: Two thumbs up.

Not sure if I got a bad mic but this one sounds muffled
I really wanted to love this mic. I was excited waiting for it to arrive. It looks awesome. It feels expensive when you hold it. It has a good amount of weight to it. It's metal, c'mon, who doesn't like metallic shiny things? It comes with all the things you need for a pro mic, so why doesn't it work as well as my CAD u37?I thought my old mic (CAD U37) had gone bad because it's very sensitive and it was picking up all the background noise during streaming. Turns out I had deleted a specific filter to avoid that issue in OBS Studio. Once I added that one filter back to OBS my old mic was back to sounding great when I went live. When I tried this mic - the EIVOTOR YX-3 my viewers told me I sounded muffled not clear like how I used to - what?! I tinkered with it in the settings to no avail. I tinkered settings in windows - nothing - still the same muffled sound. I was so sad. I am returning it with a good amount of hesitation because I wanted to love it, but the sound I wanted to get out of it is not the sound I'm getting. It's not a bad mic, perhaps it's amazing. The way it sounds on some of the reviews on here is what made me purchase it but it doesn't sound that way to me. FeelsBadMan.Three 3 stars for build quality (-2) stars for sounding muffled, perhaps even defective and that's why sound is muffled. I don't know which it is. Do some research before buying it.If you don't mind spending a little more buy the CAD u37, which is definitely studio quality. Your voice sounds as clear as if you're standing in front of someone. Sorry Eivotor I gave you a chance but I was disappointed.

surprisingly works well
Highly recommend it for wanna be singers looking for an entry level microphone setup! (I use galaxy s10 + microphone/headphone splitter cable)I'm surprised that it works better than I expected! exactly what I was looking for a singing app (smule). the gain was terrible for the first session but after reconnecting and restarting the apps it started working nicely. the gain is good, ceiling/floor is good enough for the price, distortion is minimal. I use it with the stand + pop shield and I believe the shield works pretty good, although I already pop control with my vocal/mouth, so not sure how effective it is...I tried the foam cover and it seems it blocks sound a lot more than it should and adds some distortion. Not recommend the foam cover. It includes a headphone/microphone splitter
