This OSD is good for newbies as it is so simple to wire up and just works. It can be made very very lightweight if you remove the pin headers and the heat shrink too. Be sure to label your home button as you need to press it before every flight. The text is very faint and can be hard to see. The altitude is above sea level, not above home level. the B is for home Base, showing on on the screen map where you are in relation to home. RAN is the distance from home in metric. The time is some foreign time of day and cannot be changed. I run two of these for like 5 years now, no problems.
